During Frasier this morning there was the usual IPP at the bottom of the screen, but I noticed it actually had a "Sponsored by Yakult" logo and was in the colours of the Yakult sponsorship sting (white background with black and red text). Didn't know this was allowed?

Does this come under the same remit as when Channel 5 has had idents from sponsors such as DFS?
Haven't seen that before myself at all (other than ad funded branded shows) - at least sponsored idents are separate from the programme. I assume it's allowed but it's one of those things OFCOM have relaxed they probably shouldn't - still don't think it's right for a programme to feature ads which feature the presenter of that programme.
