Anyone else watching Channel 4, the picture seems to be all blocky, the sound is fine but the image is delayed, how odd.

Sounds like a reception problem on your end.

It possibly was, it was fine at the end of Countdown and into the adverts, and back to being blocky. Must be a LEM 'North' US problem. Anyone else?

What platform are you watching it on? Fine here on Freeview.

Same thing happened on C4+1 this morning (around 11am) on DTT.

Same problem here in Lancashire on Freeview.

Notice they broadcast the Simpsons this evening complete with the word w*nkers. I'm assuming that was a mistake though, no apology at the end and I doubt they realised as they let Mr. Burns repeat the line.

I doubt it was a mistake. They've probably just realised (and quite rightly) that it's about as offensive today as the word 'bloody'.

I considered that, but I think Ofcom would still frown upon the use of any kind of 'strong' language on the Simpsons, given it still has a big following of children. But then Ofcom are a bunch of w*nkers! Laughing

Sky certainly cut out the 'wa-nkers' line from that episode. I'm pretty sure Channel 4 have done in the past too, so this seems to be a conscience decision by Channel 4 to leave it in this time.

There is also another episode with the word 'bas-tard' in (several times). Sky and Channel 4 have cut that line in the past too, but the last time I saw that episode on Channel 4, the line was back in.

Edit: Changed to get around swear filter.
