Anyone seen the last Turner the Worm? The decision to stop it must have happened really late in the day, as the story progresses along as normal, when suddenly, an off-screen voice says "Ok, boys. This is the last EVER episode of Turner the Worm, ao I guess we'll never find out what happens. Best of luck for the future!", at which point Turner's sidekick says "...er, OK. Bye!" and a clapperboard comes into view. "...and CUT!"

LOL, reminds me of when 4-T ended on the original 4 Tel service before it went all ancilliary and crappy at the start of 1993, the final scene featured the artists hand putting all the characters back into the box for one final time.
It's the loss of a great service. The information said TV News would move to p141/2 in the entertainment section, but this hasn't been revamped so it just shares the space with movies and music news - both of which I think have their own pages on C4. I think only one TV story (I'm a Celeb) line up was included when I looked earlier.
Surely even if they really must have a Horoscopes section from p135 they could squeeze in proper TV News in p110-134.
They certainly don't need the Themed Listings, TV Tonight and Subtitles page - all the info for which can be found in the main listings.
They could also drop tomorrows listings and do something similar to the digital service which has an updating 24 hour guide.
Anything Teletext do, Ceefax aren't far behind and a revamp of it's TV pages will see Chatterbox axed from next week. Film choices and TV Quiz will also be axed.
A general entertainment comments page will be launched - but as with TV Plus news being merged with Entertainment, it won't be the same at all!
The Childrens section seems to be becoming a "Newsround" section, Backchat is being scrapped. Along with the Blue Peter section, "Flashback" and the Quizzes.
And in the Music section, The Vibe is also axed, along with the Singles reviews. (They're keeping the Album reviews though)

Can't believe their axing Backchat - that's the oldest discussion page of the lot - was back in the 100s before the Childrens section was even introduced
I guess their justification would be the boom of internet forums etc., but still!
RIP Chatterbox. I've been a (fairly) regular reader since about 1996. I remember being a bit annoyed when they took it off for a while when Diana died!
Seems a bit of a drastic way of making BBCi look good but still

Indeed, why all of a sudden is TV out and general entertainment with a hint of TV in.
I'd expect better from the BBC, considering they do many other pages that arn't exactly mainstream
Club 440 on TTxt on 4 went from 440 to 140 to 380 (renamed ACE) and now shifted to 340, albeit cut from 10 to 5 pages. Thank god MegaZine is still there.
Don't agree with axing of Vibe, Chatterbox and Backchat to form one big super forum. Comments on Vibe about Smack My Bitch Up certainly wouldn't mix with comments from Backchat about pet bunny rabbits.
