Changes at CBBC

Does this mean no more Birthdays on CBeebies? Do they still do that?!

Also, does this mean that Milkshake be the only kids strand with presenters (excluding T4 but that doesn't really count!)?

Sounds like a virtual studio with virtual presenters to me if the above is accurate.

6.5 years for Angelica

Wow, very much the end of an era then. A ten year old watching CBBC today would have been three and a half when Angelica joined.

Myself, I'm just about old enough to remember Toby Anstis in the broom cupboard. I certainly hope they aren't dropping presenters...would be a bizarre backward step if they did.

I am going to be very sad if they ditch presenter altogether r if they use Anne Foye (sp?) from now on as IMO Angelica was/is the ebst CBBC presenter in a long time. She regularly ad-libs and seems to be having a really good time.

I loved the "picture" of Andrew-Hayden-Smith they used, was hillarious! I hope they bring back all the presenter Angelica used to present with at the end of the show but sadly I reckon they aren't going to.

By the way, I recording all the links used today, I know it's a bit sad but atleast ill be able to remember CBBC as it used to be (especially of they aren't going to use TC9 anymore).

EDIT: they just left Anjelica and Simon's mics on during Krypto and I could just make out Angelica saying about the "new look CBBC". Wonder what she means?

Well...that sequence with them singing 'Copocobana' was the most demented sequence in the history of CBBC, I think.

At least we got a shot of that sort of corridor area next to the gallery, I don't think they've used that bit of the studio in years.

Yeah last time I saw that was back in the yellow and black era with a round sofa in it.

Looks like it is a CSO from Sat.

Presenters aren't axed then as Simon said the new studio was going to be virtual and Gemma will show us around tomorrow.

I hate the current studio, I much preferred the 2002 set with Andrew and Co, was a much better look. This one is awful with all the bright colours!

I liked the one in Studio 10 they had, but 9 was the real home of CBBC, that long shot of that set looked a bit bland.

Just this year Mohini Sule, Sophie McDonnell, Rani Khanijau, Andrew Hayden Smith and Matt Edmondson have left CBBC and now Angelica and Simon.
If the virtual CBBC uses presenters, it will either have to bring in new presenters or record the links.

Can somebody post the last ever CBBC TC9/Angelica and Simon link, please, I shall be out when its on.
