What about the current CBBC extra studio, which I think was first shown after christmas.

Any caps? Sounds a bit boring from the above post, but I'd like to see it.

The new CBBC extra studio is white and has vertical blue lights around the outside and it has a few plasmas.

Does it resemble any of the previous sets seen before for CBBC? Any captures?

Surely the only way that CBBC will go all out on live IVC is if other channels go back, such as if CITV introduce it to their channel, and then surely others may once again follow. Hopefully it will happen one day.

I personally think the first bugs era with the digital channel studio was the best using the one studio for many things, including live programming which has disapeared everywhere, again other channels not bothering means that CBBC don't bother either.

Its weird that TMi, a show which is on for 2-3 hours a week, gets a nice big studio in Leicester Square, but CBBC on-air presentation, on every day of the week, gets a green wall.

thats true

What should really happen is they should use the studio used for Newsround (Ooh - saw one of the presenters on N24 doing well this mornin') with a bench and table with moving graphics on the video walls then have a newsround 'corner' so the news was done in the same studio but change to newsroung graphigs in the half where news was being presented

That studio is used for other programmes through the day though - like Working Lunch and Newsnight (and Breakfast?)

The two studios:
Black Floor: NewsNight; Working Lunch; Newsround.
Grey Floor: BBC One News; Breakfast; Sportsround.

Yesturday and today the CBBC Channel has come from the real set with the festive look, with Anne Foy presenting. As Anne Foy presents weekdays in term time does this mean that from tomorrow the CBBC Channel will use a real set, because the real set follows her around.

You mean it still has the festive look?
