ITN are definatly capable of switching as they broadcast from their studios in 16:9 during the jubilee- that's nearly 2 years ago. We will just have to wait until tomorrow to find out though.
Ooh I've just watched that video clip and it's all very pleasing to the eye and the music is lovely. Let's hope there's some big news tomorrow... nice things though.

I cant see any of the ITV News broadcasts being widescreen tomorrow but even though all centres do have that capability it will not happen for a year or so yet!
So, by looking at that preview, the titles start with the clock face, and then the clock sort of pixelates into lots of squares which have a dot matrix map of the world printed on them.
