I must say, I do like the National and Regional sets of music...

You can deffinatly tell the regional set are a bit brighter and feature a slight change to the dur... dur... dur dur... ... signature, going up slightly in key.

Its nice to see ITV using a news theme which isnt in such a minor key, feeling bright and slightly happy in theme!

Just been watching HTV West news on SKY - at the begining of the bulletin the newsreader said -Welcome to the last ever HTV News.He ended by saying and that was the last ever HTV News from tomorrow we have a brand new look and even newer name to find out more join us tomorrow for the ITV News Hour at 6 .

Central South had Mark Lipscombe in the newsroom rather than the studio (with a big sign saying THIS IS CENTRAL NEWS hanging from the ceiling). They ended with a preview of the new look with Wesley and Hannah in a revamped studio (I don't think it has changed that much, but has ITV blocks on the front of the desk and a new logo in a new font written Central News). They were also standing in front of a screen with that could be the new titles which involved a map of the UK made up of blue squares (if that makes any sense).

They also talked about the new timings (with a roundup of the news at 18:50) and said that the ITV news hour was going to be commercial free (which I hadn't heard before0 to being more news. Hannah seemed very excited about the changes - Wes was perhaps less sure!

In London recently, must have been the same with other regions, it has been

1800 Regional News
1828 Regional Weather
1829 ITV Adverts
1830 Evening News
1855 Weather
1857 Adverts
approx,

I assume now that it will be continous news from 1800 - 1855 with no breaks at all, and adverts just before Emmerdale?

Where can you get the music from? Sorry I am a bit thick!

just a few pages back

it looks good that is commercial free, although this has been like it for a few months now, and can they afford to do this?

The mp3 that was uploaded a few pages back, is a short sample of the opening to the national bulletin. I'm sure no-one will be disappointed with the whole set. It was remixed by the ones who did the previous 'Breaking News' Mixes. And for those in the know, look out for 'Network Report' and 'World Agenda'

The extremely irritating Anna-Maria Ashe on London Tonight had nothing to say about the relaunch, just we'll see you as usual tomorrow at six for London Tonight. Why does she always look like she's about to burst into laughter??

Why can't the ITV News Channel use the old ITV news studio, that way when itv1 have their news bullitens the ITV News Channel can carry breaking news or football (then people can watch ITV news while footy fans can catch up).

I suspect the old studio will be used for the new London programme

I'm not very impressed by that map logo.

Sorry to be a pain, but can someone direct me to the online ITV Regional news that contains streams of all bulletins. I am thinking perhaps the last bulletins will be posted there.

Cheers
