On Monday they showed one episode (Al's wedding) of the three-part conclusion to the series, and today they've jumped back to an early series with a different Heidi and the kids being kids again.

That episode was in fact the last ever episode they made. The end showed Tim driving a truck with their house on the back of it.

Home Improvement seems to have missed many episodes out. Last week we saw the second part of an obviously two-part episode, but the first part wasn't screened.

The "Different Heidi" is actually Lisa, a completely different character Wink

Well, they referred to her as Heidi - and she was credited as Heidi at the end of the programme - Charlotte someone, while the later Heidi is Debbie Dunning.

I don't recall there having been two different Heidis - are you sure about that?

My mistake I think. From www.tvtome.com it's episode 2 of series 5, The First Temptation of Tim, and it credits Debbie Dunning (did she used to be blonde), although I didn't realise Pamela Anderson played Lisa.

Also, ABC1 have shown episode 1 of series 5 today, and from the final series they skipped five episodes between Friday and Monday.

27 days later

Some seem to have their packages mixed up on DS, on the topic regarding ABC1 on telewest, they are saying that ABC 1 is going on the TUTV Starter pack, but actually its the telewest starter pack or am i right?.

Since ABC 1 launched on Telewest on friday, ABC 1 has been "encrypted" on my bush freeview box for the last two days in the mornings but not in the evening when i come home but the now and next info is being displayed fine is that a fault?.

It's not encrypted on either of my freeview boxes, so it must be a fault. Other people experienced this last week when the Top Up TV Sampler was launched.

Experiencing the same over the past few mornings on Thomson and Sagem boxes.

Bit of a nuisance as I rather enjoy a comedy in the morning just before work!

Has anyone else noticed the stupid laugter track that's been added to Sports Night recently? It's really getting on my wick!

well, being a telewest subscriber, Friday was the first day i got to watch abc1.

It's a great channel. only downside (Execpt from the limited hours that it's on air) is the constant loss of signal. Mad

All i want to do is watch 8 Simple rules and Nurses (Which i hadn't seen since it was on paramount in '96) and the signal keeps breaking up. oh well, atleast i cas see parts of the programs i guess Sad

A few more things to note, currently advertised on ABC1:

Arrow Schedule changes coming soon - well the addition of Mad About You at least

Arrow BRAND NEW 8 Simple Rules premiere on Christmas Day from "12 o'clock", with three new episodes, which I imagine are John Ritters final three editions from the beginning of series 2 (note I expect these will begin earlier than 12, as Home Improvement begins at 1.05pm).

Arrow Sparkling graphics for their Christmas promo. Christmas Day it's 8 Simple Rules / Home Improvement, with Ellen / Geena Davis on Boxing Day. ABC1 are also promoting the premiere of Finding Nemo at the moment as well, on the Disney Channel from next Sunday.
