One of the funniest episodes of the show that. I get why Ferguson played on the cheapness of his show, because it always got great laughs. I bet he secretly loved it every time they had a power cut
Another one that sticks in my mind is when he accidentally broke the autocue glass on the camera
Look at the old shows like the two above videos. I was lucky enough to visit both studios, the older shows being done in Studio 58. Studio 58 was TINY, so much so that they had to move the chairs and desk out of the shot just so Craig had room to do his monologue. Studio 58 was used because Tom Snyder originally did the show there, and his show was just him and the guest and no audience, so you can just imagine how small it actually is.
