Your chance to present a regional news programme

I would love to present with Stuart White, but definatly look east so probably with Suzie fowler-watt.

If you go to a fete or other event around Wales or the West, you can go to the HTV stand where they have a mock up of the news studio. You can present and record your own news show and I think it's £5 for a tape of the finished result!

My choice is Central News with the Souths Weekend presenter Mark Lipscomb. A true pro.

I'd like to do Newsroom Southeast with Mike Embley...he just seems like a good presenter...shame they pulled him onto 24, though; I feel his place is in either LDN or SE Today.

Tonight on the BBC news at ten headlines, when they opted to the Midlands reigion they had their camara in 14:9.

They did not have it W/S did any other reigions get it.

This is BBC ONE in the North West with North West Tonight with Aaron Ryder and Gordon Burns

I'm going to suggest at a BBC Local Advisory Group meeting that Midlands Today loses Herefordshire and north Gloucestershire, and South Today loses Oxfordshire, and those areas should come together to form South Midlands Today - from studios in the city of Oxford (and the Birmingham programme can then rename itself West Midlands Today).

The Beeb will be so impressed with this suggestion, than not only will they impliment it as immediately as possible, but they will make me the anchor presenter. I will present the 1830 programme on my own, cuz the Beeb will see that I have the 'Gordon Burns touch' (i.e. so good that I don't need a co-host).

I'd like to see Look East fragmented, come to think of it. The area that programme covers is vast! I'd make it so that those viewers receiving Look East via the Sandy Heath transmitter get a whole new programme (Home Counties Tonight or something like that) based in Bedford or Cambridge, and those receiving Look East via Sudbury or Tacolneston likewise from Norwich.
