Given Challenge's love of editing programmes, I'm surprised that they haven't butchered the Dave Spikey Bullseye programmes to remove references to their defunct challenge.co.uk/bullseye url shown on screen and mentions of the online game.

In fact I'm surprised a version without these elements wasn't produced at the time it was made. Then again it's being shown in 14:9 so it's not exactly being treated properly.

It's always been shown in 14:9.
The URL references are probably an oversight, but not really serious enough to warrant immediate removal, unlike what happened with Take It Or Leave It.

I notice that Fort Boyard has disappeared from the 6pm slot on the 12th Sept.

What is your source? It still appears on Digiguide for the moment.

The winner of tonight's second episode of Catchphrase won a trip to see the Australian version of the show. How long did the Australian version last?

It ran between 1997 and 2003. But, it was cancelled in 2001, before being cancelled again in 2003. It was actually called 'Burgo's Catch Phrase' in Australia, in honour of the host.

Hhhmm...there does appear some confusion whether Fort Boyard will be shown next Monday night at 6.00pm. Sky Guide shows Takeshi's Castle is on instead at 6pm whilst The Crystal Maze starts returns earlier than usual at 5.00pm. This is a shame if this is the case... Rolling Eyes

I don't think there is any confusion. It's pretty clear that Fort Boyard won't be on Challenge next Monday.

You never know, Fort Boyard has apparenty been in the schedules for Challenge twice recently and then removed - due to some problems obtaining licenses from what I hear. I'd assume that means that they are in negotiations with (hopefully) Fremantle (but probably) Ronin Entertainment to obtain some rights for somewhen near in the future.

Let's keep our fingers crossed for some successful negotiations!

Reading round elsewhere it appears that later on this month Challenge will be leaving MUX A on DTT and be taking the Pick TV+1 slot on DTT, whilst still remaing on LCN 46, with Pick TV+1 ceasing.
