It's bother, swiftly followed by a sharp intake of breath through his teeth which is making it sound a lot like something else.
I know you are right, of course but once you hear something it is difficult to hear anything else. That is why I avoided putting what I heard in my original post. I didn't want people to be expecting to hear anything when they saw the clip.
I've been really impressed with Challenge's Facebook page today. Someone is doing a fantastic job at replying to my 3-2-1 query and ignoring the idiots. They even did some research and came back with further information a couple of times.

We now know that the 1988(?) Christmas special will air on Saturday.
I'm almost tempted to write to Challenge and say what a good job they have done today. I can't help thinking I would get them in trouble though because they are probably meant to be doing something other than posting on Facebook.
It's a shame other facebook users had to ruin the question by asking such things as "Is there any news on what series of Fort Boyard is due to be shown in September?" and "What about the other shows we've all requested?"
but I just can't hear 'bother' either.

I know, but wasn't it nice that 'Challenge TV' largely ignored them?
I found this on YouTube earlier. It is an interview with Ted Rogers in Spain on Un, Dos, Tres. It is mostly in English although he doesn't really say anything that interesting but it is nice to see an English gentleman abroad.
I also uploaded this a few months ago and forgot about it. It is a clip of Ted Rogers making people imagine his penis, so don't watch if you don't think that is something that will interest you.
What have you heard from Ofcom so far?
I see it wasn't in the Broadcast Bulletin published yesterday.

Just lodged a complaint with Ofcom. I'm disgusted that Sky have chosen to schedule Fun House in a slot clearly aimed at Children enjoying their school holidays and then have it carry sponsorship for an 18+ Gambling service.
Wholly inappropriate.
Wholly inappropriate.
Ofcom Complaint posted:
This programme, which has clearly been scheduled to coincide with the school holidays, originally aired on Childrens ITV and is to all intents and purposes a Childrens programme, has been "sponsored" by an 18+ gambling service (Sky Bingo). I hope Ofcom finds this as inappropriate as I do.

Aren't we all? Somebody using a Stanley Knife?
Mind you I notice it's been revived again, and now airs on Disney Junior. Not in its original form it would appear, but from poking about on the various clips on the Disney Junior website, the basic principles seem to be there.

I'm intrigued as to what the complaint with Art Attack was (genre: Crime)!

Yeah I noticed this when looking after my relatives' kids recently.
It appears to be a smaller, but similar set, with a younger british host, who doesn't seem to have an accent. Plus everything seems to be branded as Disney's Art Attack.

Okay, I'll upload it somewhere (where?) but remember, these things are never as good as the brief YouTube clips make them seem.

So, the last weekend for 3-2-1 for the moment., A sad day for television. Today they are showing the 1988 Christmas special which I believe features Jim and Barbara Royle. Tomorrow they are showing the episode they missed by mistake, could this be the 1988 Olympic special? I doubt it, but it would be great to see. Next weekend we have a double bull of Play your Cards Right.
Listings show that the episode of Fort Boyard on the 12th September is in widescreen. Were the Channel 5 series in widescreen? I guess the Challenge series was, but this was before Challenge showed widescreen programmes so it has probably only been shown 14:9 in the past. Either way, its probably a nonsense listing that will be changed nearer the time. I thought it was worth mentioning though.

I have no idea where it can be uploaded!
ON the subject of 321, I wonder if Challenge might decide to acquire S1 -S8, It would be nice to see them again, I believe there not seen the light of day since 2003?

Unfortunately not, both the Channel 5 series and the 2003 Challenge series were originated in 4:3. I'd guess that it's just a standard description now for Challenge programming since the channel has started broadcasting in 16:9. I too am looking forward to seeing the original series (if it is that series that they've got hold of this time!)

That's it then. 3-2-1 has now finished. The episode shown today had an edit near the end as well as the usual removal of the viewers competition. I guess they removed Ted Rogers saying it was the last episode until the Christmas special. Complete waste of time.
On Saturday we had the 1987 Christmas episode with contestants Jack and Vera Duckworth, Jim and Barbara Royle and some people from Emmerdale Farm or "Emmerdale" as the forward thinking Ted Rogers called it. I thought this was the last ever episode but according to Wikipedia there were two specials in 1988 (Olympic and Christmas) which Challenge don't seem to have or don't seem to want to show anyway.
This episode didn't seem to have a viewers competition but it did have a word removed in a song sang by Pat Combes. I think the word may have been 'golliwog'. I'm not sure this was a Challenge edit, it seemed a little too good.
Now that 3-2-1 has gone, what is Challenge's oldest show? Do they actually show anything from the 80s at all any more? Everything on the channel seems to be 90s or newer. I don't think there is much hope for seeing older episodes of 3-2-1, Bullseye, Family Fortunes or Blockbusters any time soon. I hope I am wrong though.
