It's not unusual, especially for smaller repeat-based channels. Other shows shown twice this weekend include MoTD on BBC1, Jonathan Creek on Watch, X Factor (3 times if you include ITV2), and I believe One Foot In The Algarve on GOLD.
Challenge are showing the same episode of 3-2-1 that they showed yesterday. Idiots!

It is very unusual, in that it doesn't usually happen. The very purest form of unusualness. This is not usual at all. It is usual for them to show an episode on Saturday (once not including +1) and then show the next episode on Sunday (once not including +1).

IT seems "Oops TV" will be coming to Challenge as a filler soon at 8-9am on Saturdays
Also Pointless is coming to the channel, I don't mind this as I never see the first 3 series

Yes, like The Krypton Factor 1995, I am glad Challenge are showing 3-2-1 1987 but it certainly isn't the best example of the programme.
This series is far too modern looking, I doubt anyone remembers these opening titles over the classic chevron ones. The black backdrop in almost all shots looks far too dull for 321

Question is when will there buy the rights to the 1978 - 1985 series? there not been seen in at least 6 years?

The ITC was set up through the 1990 Broadcasting Act and ran 1991-2003 when it was merged into OFCOM.
As you may be aware it's predecessor was the IBA which ran for nearly forty years (in two guises), 1954-1991.
The prize limits weren't lifted until the early 1990s, about 1993 IIRC. Prior to this the upper weekly limit was £3000. According to a transdiffusion.org article, a lucky contestant won £5580 in 1958, a huge amount of money at the time. It was partly this and the corruption issues surroundng the gameshow in question ("Twenty One", which also had the same issues in America) that lead to the prize limits being imposed in the first place.

No car on 3-2-1 again today. According to Challenge's A-Z of 3-2-1, they were only allowed to give the car away 4 times in a series. This must have been due to the ITC(?) rule about the value of prizes. Was this rule still in place during the current series in 1987 or was it actually a Yorkshire Television rule to keep costs down?

Fort Boyard is coming!!! Monday 12th September at 6pm. Was originally scheduled for 1am at the weekends s it's great they've put it on this time!! Unsure if it's Melinda's episodes or Jodie P's, but nevertheless, this is epic news for Freeview viewers! Hope it's Channel 5's series!!

I did hear about a man from "Winner takes all" who won £6660, just after that the limited was cut back to a straight £6000, the total amount someone could win.
