If they aren't aiming at Children, then why does it only turn up at weekends and school holidays, and never on weekdays during termtime?

Its entirely possible for a channel not aimed at children to aim at children for a limited portion of the day. In the past they've even run school holiday mornings with a strand, the last time I remember being "Action Mornings" in August 2009.

I can entirely see the point about Fun House being sponsored by Sky Bingo. A children's programme is still a children's programme. A few years back ITV3 got their knuckles rapped for putting Cobra beer sponsorship around Mary Poppins. Just because the film was made in 1964 and was screened on an oldies channel doesn't mean it won't still appeal to a younger audience. The same is true of Fun House, especially with the slots it has been scheduled in.

Glad somebody agrees. See what Ofcom say I guess, it'll be in the bulletin of the 14th if at all.

The aspect ratio problem has been fixed, with 4:3 programmes airing in 4:3.

There is an episode of Blockbusters on at 02:15 on Wednesday. Is this a separate run to the episodes shown at 14:00 and 14:30 or do you need to watch at two in the morning AND two in the afternoon to follow it?

The vast majority of stuff in that slot is repeats from earlier in the day (unless it hasn't had a screening that day). Perhaps tape it to be sure though.

Were these small edits to Bullseye around when Challenge was under Virgin Media? I'm not too keen on having the contestants and Jim being cut off mid sentence during a scene/interview.

Yeah Sad

At one point 'uncut' episodes were promised to go out overnight, don't know if that ever materialised.

I posted on this very subject when Virgin Media ran the channel.

God me, there was a very nasty edit at the end of one of the episodes of Bullseye yesterday just prior to the credits.
Not sure about "small" edits, more like ripping great chunks out at the moment. Even the "let's have a look at what you could have won" holiday videos have an edit in a lot of episodes that you'd have to be brain dead to miss.

Those "let's meet the contestants" interviews (Bullseye and Family Fortunes) being cut are relatively new edits to Challenge, if I remember correctly. On an alternative note, I didn't realise that the "Bully Trashes The Set" titles lasted three series. Says a lot about them though when the 2006 revival rehashed "Bully Drives A Bus".

Have challenge ever shown the 1994 series of bullseye? or should that be the 1994-1995 series of bullseye?

Not for the last 3 or so years, at least.
