This is the Group A Final. I think they just put todays two episodes on in the wrong order somehow.
Now we're on to the grand final? Explanation anyone?

Gordon definitely said 1995 grand final at the start of the second episode just now. They've also flown over the Irish sea which we haven't seen yet.
I think they need to find a better playout system!

He said something along the lines of "Some of Britain's best supermen and woman are competing for their place in the Krypton Factor 1995 Grand Final, this is the Group A Final".
The reference to The Irish Sea was when Gordon Burns was talking about Mandy crashing in to it (the part of it that is on the Blackpool coastline) in the her heat. They are flying over the Lake District in this episode. Hopefully the animations have been improved too.
I'm actually annoying someone who works in transmission for Challenge on Twitter at the moment about all the problems they have.

Glad they haven't skipped any episodes. Not sure what my ears were playing at when watching earlier.

Yes, a very blurry audience.
It is odd to think this was only 1995 which doesn't seem that long ago (for someone of my age anyway) but these contestants live in a different world to us. The chances are that none of them have used the web, none of them have heard of Pokemon or Harry Potter, none of them have watched a DVD or Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? and none of them knew that would all be dead by 1998 due to the toxic paint on the Krypton Mountain.
In other thoughts, there is a gentleman on Bullseye called Ozzy Osbourne. No reference to his name has been made. Different world!
There appears to be an audience visible in the group final too.

The "web" has technically been around since 1980 in one form or another and you could have used a web browser in 1995 over the phone line paying Compuserve or AOL a monthly fee AND the cost of the calls on top. Pokemon was only a year away from being created, and Harry Potter was technically created probably in 1995 if not sooner.
With regards to Ozzy Osbourne, it may not have been picked up because the "real" Ozzy had a drug problem in the mid 1980s round the time of that episode's recording and it probably doesn't do anybody any favours to imply they behave like their namesakes.
Anyway talking of Bullseye, I'm sure I saw a miscount on the charity throw of the 8pm showing of Bullseye. I believe one dart went into the 1 and was counted as a 20 by Tony Green. Okay an extra £19 for the charity if it was a genuine miscount (as the thrower didn't pick it up either).

I suspect that the Lifeboat men in Ireland will be more than happy to return the £19 (plus costs, plus inflation, plus compensation) to Central if the error was brought to their attention.

Your sarcasm knows no bounds
I have no doubt, 23 years down the line, it's was used wisely.
