Quite eerie stuff. Presumably Challenge have been diligent enough to mothball that episode now.
Oh, I hope not. I want to know how he did. I would also like to hear him chatting with Jim Bowen. It would seem a bit of a waste not to show an episode of Bullseye just because a contestant liked a bit of killing. Sadly, I fear you are right and this episode won't be shown again.
The jury don't know how lucky they are to have seen a complete uncut episode of Bullseye. When was the last time any of us got to see that?
Thanks for the pointing to the ITV Wales programme. It explains why the footage used on Meridian Tonight had comedy/scary music on it, it was obviously lifted from the ITV Wales programme.
He took the gamble but lost. The "look at what you could have won" was an Austin Metro. I wonder if he'd still have committed the robberies/murders a month later if he'd won?
Very badly edited though. It makes it look like he took the gamble on his own but what they don't explain is that he was the non-dart player. They didn't show his friend throw a single dart. As it happens, John Cooper scored 26 and so did his dart playing friend, so really it is his friend that comes out of this programme looking worse than him. At least he got some questions right.
Did anybody see the problems Challenge had this afternoon before Bullseye at 5.30pm? They showed Ninja Warrior trailer, only for pre-recorded announcer to kick in too early.
It went:
Trailer: "The world's toughest gameshow!"
CA: "With Bob Monkhouse"

I hope you remembered to turn over to Challenge+1 at 17:28 and capture this for historical record?
