Just spotted a straight-forward trail for a Challenge programme. It seems there's a new series of Ninja Warrior, which shows that Sky is at least pumping money in. I doubt there'll be any more totally homegrown shows as I'd expect them to end up on Sky 1 first.
The slide at the end of this trail was terrible though. Had a version of the Challenge logo that looked half formed, and then just had centred text beneath it. What happened to the nice end boards which fit in with the branding?
I sort of wish Sky would just go for a complete redesign rather than the hash they've made of this set.

On the subject, I saw this a few weeks ago, an actual channel trail ending in a programme line-up slide:

Another strange logo variation too, same one as you saw Will?

This one didn't have the weird chrome effect, but was similarly half formed.
Nice to see channel promotion though, those "Tonight on Challenge" trails run in the day when I expect Challenge has a totally different audience to the audience it gets at prime time. I like them.

There could be another legal dispute, It happened with Chain letters. I still think there would be better off starting with the SKY one version then working backwards

Or more likely, the two-week ahead schedule really is a pile of pish and cannot be trusted.

The EPG data for the current day isn't much better either.
Today they showed Roy Walker's Gameshow A-Z but the title of the show on the EPG was Roy Walker's Gameshow Moments and the description was "Courtesy of Catchphrases favourite Roy Walker comes a selection of small screen bloopers" which describes neither show.
And another thing, Roy Walker's Gameshow A-Z showed the Catchphrase Snake Charmer clip complete with hand movement which seems to be something Challenge have decided to edit out from the actual programme. Inconsistent madness!
