Challenge Asking For Suggestions

I'd like to see Catchphrase and Play Your Cards Right back on our screens but not on Challenge. They should be back on ITV1 alongside Bullseye.

ITV1 is a much poorer place nowadays without any quiz or game shows. So is Channel 4 without a good romp around The Crystal Maze on Thursday nights!!! BRING THEM BACK!!!

I used to like watching The Pyramid Game on Saturday evenings with Steve Jones as its presenter. Didn't he also do the weekday version, as well?

Also, whilst I was at University I did enjoy watching the Reg Grundy version of Jeopardy which used to be on in the 925 gameshow slot on ITV. DIdn't Reg Grundy also do the Sky version as well.

Obscure gameshows' I'd like to see on Challenge as new versions would be...

Turnabout with Rob Curling - I used to love the virtual water effect on that.

They can't remake "Play Your Cards Right" without Bruce Forsyth! It just wouldn't be the same without him!

It was real water wasn't it? To start with it just looked like a shiny black floor, but then they managed to create some kind of constant ripple.

I would like to see lily savages Blankety Blank come back!! Lily Savage was great on it!!


Talking of Gladiators, why did ITV drop it?? Was it to do with some sort of scandal or something I remember??

From what I remember they actually had someone to stand and make it ripple with a plank of wood.

It's going to be Bruce Forsyth on the new series, so calm down...



Paul has insisted that his days of drag are over, and is more interested in making himself known instead of a persona. Sorry to disapoint.

I think Paul O' Grady's Blankety Blank would work just as well. I often think the difference between the two is just the outfit - the humour is the same.

I was wondering if the reason they''ve suddenly decided to repeat 'Big Break' was to maybe create another "Bullseye". I hope so anyway, I loved BB and would like to see it back - minus Jim Davidson (but with John Virgo).

I'd like to see 'Telly Addicts' revived too.

Challenge have gone down that route with the world famous Soap Addicts, Sport Addicts etc.

Thinking further, there are a few board games that still haven't seen great televisual grandeur... anyone for S4C's Monopoly?!
