I think the weather studio is somewhere else in bham.. [quote]
Correct, the weather is produced for Central by WSI (Weather Services International) and all three regional weather versions are recorded at studios in the St Pauls Square/Jewellry Quarter area of Birmingham. It is a good 15 minute walk from Centrals pad, to the weather studio. WSI used to share office space with Mentorn Midlands (who produced Scratchy and Co for ITV), but after they lost the commision, they moved out, and I think WSI are now the only sole tennant.

Sorry if this has already been answered but... if Llewella is staying at Central West then who is going to be the main presenter with Marie Ashby on Central East?
Having only just got back from Wales this week i've noticed that the presenters have been all over the place and i miss seeing the titles with the presenters in it. The short/weekend bulletins have also mainly been presented by reporters this week instead of Annabel Tiffin. Perhaps they are trting to find a replacement. (It's a sad life i know but i've had to cope with HTV News all summer and have missed CNEast's funky titles and music! )
Well, no new look this morning. Its pretty obvious now that they are going to launch it with Central News at Six.
They showed the trailer (albeit a badly edited one) during the GMTV bulletins, talking about that. The first bulletin at about 0635 was terrible. The presenters microphone or autocue wouldn't work and the presenter was scurrying around trying to do his best. Bless him.
Well done Central News!!! It truly is really nice, here are some pictures of the show in action from the new look tonight, I'll get the titles up late on.
