Celebrity X factor Confirmed

Not a lot. X Factor Special Edition? That just sounds even worse. They could have called it 'The Star Factor' or something. Love Island sounds better though. I have a feeling more people will be inclined to watch without the tacky sounding name. Because Love Island doesn't doesn't tacky at all.

Well considering that the past 2 series of IACGMOOH have been shown in November, then I'm guessing November this year.

Unfortunately the drivel known as IACGMOOH tends to bring in the viewers, so it is probably best saved for when more people are watching, where as in the Summer months, fewer are watching and it also being aimed at the Big Brother audience.

They would have been better off dropping the celebrity version full stop. Too many of these celebrity reality tv shows have been on recently.

I'm guessing you presumed correctly. And in answer to that, I'd say nothing. Celebrity is probably just going to be dropped from future shows perhaps, and shows that weren't that successful previously. 'I'm A Celebrity' is a brand in itself, and it would be madness to drop the Celebrity from the title. Yes, some people refer to it as 'Get Me Out Of Here' but very rarely.

Do people really believe they'll rename Celebrity X Factor - X factor: Special Edition? I doesn't exactly roll off the tongue does it? nor does it give it any more credibility.

And IMO it wasn't "Celebrity" that put me off... it was "Love Island"! That's the trashiest sounding bit.

The X Factor show is now being billed as "X Factor - Batte of the Stars", in Love Island news, Liza Tarbuck has today been confirmed as Patrick Kieltys co-host.

Liza Tarbuck has been chosen to host the show formerly known as Celebrity Love Island.

Tarbuck, 41, was chosen to replace last year's delicious yet derided host, Kelly Brook.

Denise Van Outen had been tipped to take the reins, but she is reportedly too busy to spend ten weeks in Fiji filming the reality show.

Irish comic Patrick Kielty will co-host the ITV1 show, this year to be known simply as Love Island.

Tarbuck first hit the screens in the sitcom Watching and went on to appear on Big Breakfast and in the romantic comedy Linda Green .
