Someone on DS has just posted these as Friday's figures:

Big Brother - 5.9m (30.6%)
Love Island - 1.5m (7.7%)

Ouch!

Surprised How long does this show run for again? Two Weeks? Big Brother is moving slots on Sunday and Monday from next week so it goes head to head

Oh dear. Not getting any better. I think it's veryy safe to say Paul Danan & Steve-O won't save it. Even to the most obvious viewer, it's clearly desperation.

ITV must be mad spending 20 million pounds on this after last year's series was a disaster.

Wow - the ratings are getting worse and worse! Thumbs up to The British Public for deserting this show in droves! Surely, this show will be axed in the next day or so and the non celebs will fly home???

i will never ever see that happening, sadly.
they'd be too embaressed. ok, they did it to celebrity wrestling, but that was much easier to pull the plug on as people weren't really paying attention to it.
how low were the ratings for celebrity wrestling before they axed it mid-series?

ITV won't axe Love Island regardless of how badly it performs. If ratings don't pick up in the next couple of days expect it to be moved to a post 11pm slot.

While anything else would be dropped instantly if Charles Allen snaps his fingers. There's only one reason why Sex Island continues - ITV would otherwise lose thousands in phone vote revenue.

And, bugger me Simon, those millions of pounds are generated by people who might enjoy watching the programme. What a foreign concept that is.

But if viewing figures are dropping how many people will actually bother to vote
