Have you got the link to this blog?

Sure thing:

http://blogs.guardian.co.uk/organgrinder/reality_tv/

You're looking for blog entries by Natalka Znak- she's the exec producer of love island who thinks its acceptable to blog for a media savvy audience (i.e. media guardian readers) as if completely oblivious to the disaster that is her programme.

If you just read her words you would think the show was posting 10m every night, and had the nation gripped.

It's a bit of an embarassing blog really, and she probably shouldn't have agreed to write it.

What a blog! Laughing

I mean, ITV's current solution is to keep chucking new unknown "celebrities" onto this island. Yeah, like that's going to work.

Also, another thing that annoys me is that our friends over at Digital Spy often seem to have a habit of putting Love Island news as their main headline/top story. Whats that all about? Are they in partnership with ITV?

"New girl set to cause a stir on the Island"
'Island' star Chris moves on to Colleen

Who's Chris? who's Colleen? Bloody hell nobody's watching. I mean, I don't want to start having a go at the reporters at DS, its their job but judging by ratings, does anyone care?

And also, this "set to cause a stir" slogan is used far too often in the media/press and is often total rubbish!

Maybe now that Charles Allen is almost gone, ITV will send him out there to 'cause a stir'. I can only imagine the sleeping arrangements...

Imagine the headlines to that...

"Charles in 'bed romp' with Sophie"

For all I care they might as well send a dead fly that was found in Charles Allen's office out there. That's how desperate its getting.

Last night's show only got 1.8 million. The show's dying on its arse.

Big Brother's Big Brain has always had low viewing figures though, even before Love Island started. Looking at those firgues, I doubt any Big Brother viewers "defected" to LI at 11.

Are they really in Fuji? The background behind Patrick and Fearne looks green screened.

I caught a smidgen of LI last night, only because the teaser trail showed that Sophie bint having a pop at Dannan for "innappropriate behaviour".

Well duh! That's what he's there for.

I stayed tuned for about 5 minutes, then I had to be resuscitated.

I also caught it for the first time last night and also could only manage about five minutes. It really is truly, truly terrible.
