So now we can add a druggie to the winners hall of fame alongside the male, female, gay, transexual and virgin.

The voting figures were poor - but I doubt C4 are crying about the ratings.
Yes, they are lower than the regular Big Brother series, but on a par with - if not better than - Celebrity Big Brother 2.
It's twice what C4 usually get and provided an excellent platform for C4 to launch it's Winter schedule. The schedules are also much more competitive in January at 9pm than over the summer at 10pm.
I'm sure reports on the ratings will compare it to the 10 million who watched Jack Dee win the first series - but remember that was part of Comic Relief on BBC1!
Also, Celebrity Big Brother has faired better than it's alternative reality offerings The Games, which gets 2-3m viewers, and Shattered, which took the slot last year.

I think everyone was a little surprised at Bez winning - especially the crowd who were there!
I'm glad that the so-called 'favourite' didn't win, but I'm not pleased it was Bez. Why should a druggie win? Anyone with half a decent bone in their body would have donated AT LEAST half of the prize to charity - instead Bez is going to 'Pimp his ride', and no doubt spend the rest on weed, or whatever filth he uses.
On a seperate note, I read somewhere in one of yesterday's papers that for BB6 they're no longer going to be accused of chasing the ratings, by trying to get people to have sex. Instead they promised lots of practical jokes - "BB6 is going to be hilarious".
I hope Big Brother keeps it's new found personality for BB6, as it has made BB5 and CBB3 that little bit better.

Much rather have a 'druggie' win than a boy band puppet!

Any chance you judgemental types could contain your opinions for a change?
On the basis that you have had something of a public detox yourself Jay, you're hardly in a position to criticise what people choose to consume.

What??
He admitted in the house he was missing his drugs. He couldn't wait to get out.
The fact that he's a 'celebrity' means that he should be making an appearance for charity - what with recent events in the world you would have thought his first choice for the money would lie with the DEC. Then again, the fact that he's not actually a celebrity (Why exactly is he famous again?), means he can waste it all on his habit and his car.
And of course these are my opinions, do I have to put a disclaimer on every post?

What do you mean "what??"
My point is that it's hypocritical to comment on someone who chooses to take uppers/downers, when you have made a whole programme about your inability to resist the tempation of chocolate.
So, would it be different if a "fat" person won the show?
Moreover, neither Bez nor Kenzie (who still lives at home as he cannot afford his own place) have any money left to show for from their years in the limelight. Why do you feel entitled to comment on that? The disasters emergency comittee made £250K from the show. Bez can spend his money where he likes. He (according to what he said on the show) has two children and a heap of personal debt.
I suppose I'm saying judge not lest ye be judged.
Amen.

So because I am appearing on a programme that focuses on weight issues (and for your information, Gillian didn't think I needed to lose much weight - and the programme is about healthy living, not weight loss) I am not entitled to an opinion?
I don't care about Bez or Kenzie or anyone else for that matter - I care about the fact that Bez (from what I could decipher), planned on spending some of the money on drugs. Maybe he has personal trouble - I don't know, but all I am saying is was he really a worthy winner?
Oh, and I know this won't matter to you but most of the people at college and at work have said the same thing. Why are you so defensive anyway? I only made a comment!
