Not a great line up especially when you consider the last few, and then factor in recent line ups in shows like Strictly, Dancing on Ice and I'm a Celebrity. So far Claire Richards is their star signing. The twist is annoying as well because its really dragging the show out. It's almost as though they made it up as they went along and didn't really give any thought to how it was coming across to viewers. I'll be interested to see the ratings for this.
The characters are quite similar too, especially the three older women. I'm not sure this one will be able to hold my interest.
From a pres point of view, they're using a different section of the theme tune for the "celebrities" entering the basement.

It's a bit weird that C5 maintain two Big Brother sites. I can understand that one is a generic programme page but it has more information on there than the other generic pages do. You'd think it would make more sense to merge the news from the house into the generic page.

Last day tomorrow. Hopefully Celebrity Big Brother's Bit on the Side will be a good one again. They seem to know how to end a series well.
This happened on the show this evening. It was shown again complete on Channel 5+1 an hour later which sounds obvious but was not always the case with E4 and E4+1 where Big Brother was concerned.

In my opinion big brother has improved since its move to c5 , but there are just a few things that were better in the c4 era. Brian is just not as good as Davina and the narrator does far to much now - I forget his name , and eviction night doesn't have the same atmosphere as before, the name celebrity just didn't live up to the name! Also channel 4 made more of an effort with the studios than channel 5 do! but its not all about studios.

I noticed they were product-placing Lucozade in the last week of CBB. Doesn't that fall foul of the rules? I thought you're not allowed to product anything unhealthy?

It would depend on whether it was classed as prop placement or paid for product placement. And it might depend whether it's classed as a junk food product or not.

It was declared in the credits as "Product Placement: Lucozade" and I'm pretty sure that stuff is junk food, its raison d'être is that it's 99% sugar, right?
