The Carphone Warehouse sponsorship stings are back!
There wasn't one into the adverts just now, after the LIve feed, and there isn't mention of the 'Carphone Warehouse' on the web site—though, it took them a while to take the banner off.
All of the main protagonists (C4, Endemol, Carphone Warehouse) have handled this crisis brilliantly for publicity and ratings.
The only one whose career looks like it is damaged is Jade's.
I think Jade is an obnoxious little p**** and I think it is damaging to our society for her to be considered a role model, however I genuinely don't think she was, in her heart, being racist - I think she bullied and took it too far. Others will disagree with that.

Both Endemol and C4 have made a bad situation out of a good ending - meaning Jade has now left the BB House. They have both kept calm throughtout the past week as it would have looked unprofessional if they had'nt done so. (Except for the Carphone Warehouse pulling their sponsorship for a few days)
I don't think that Jade was deliberately racist. I believe that the real racists in there are Danielle and Jack, but I sadly feel that now Jade has gone, the furore will die down and those two nasty pieces of work won't be made accountable for their actions in the same way that Jade has been and will be.
If anything, I think that some of the reaction to what is and isn't actually racist shows how conditioned we have all become to the PC regime - it's almost impossible to make a genuine, reasonable point against Shilpa without being branded 'racist'.
I've also wondered how many of the people who have complained about Jade's alleged racism are also those Daily Mail types who complain about "bloody foreigners coming and nicking all our jobs" or when they are abroad they get all upset because - shock, horror - "them" don't speak English.
Never thought I'd be saying this, but I was actually impressed by how Jade conducted herself this evening. Although I really detest how she treated Shilpa, I think it took a lot of maturity to take the first step and clear the air. And I think she was also very honest in the interview. I really think she may have learnt something from this experience.
Was very surprised by Davina though. As much as I like her, I had a horrible feeling she was going to do a really soft interview, but she didn't. She asked all the right questions, and got the tone right I thought. She's a true professional.
Yes, I thought so too - the Interview last night was good - but that was only due to the main fact thet Jade and Davina were both briefed before-hand so that Jade woul'dnt say the wrong things.... now she's out, the Tabloid's will want to speak with her, and she may spill more than she's been told to do so....

yes its been said in the newspapers, that Jade was briefed, a lot of the answers Jade gave seemed to suggest this too, apparently Jade was to be in a chat show made by Endemol themselves, they had already shot a pilot episode, whether this is true or not only Endemol know.
The audience for Friday's coverage peaked at 8.8 million between 2245 and 2300 GMT, according to the unofficial overnight figures. The entire show averaged 7.8 million.
In comparison, an average of 7.7 million saw Pete Bennett win the last non-celebrity version of Big Brother in August - Channel 4's biggest audience of 2006.
That easily makes it the most watched eviction ever.
