Yeah, get your chinks and japs right.

If that was supposed to be funny, it wasn't, and I suggest you remove that post immediately.

Only in this country could my obviously ironic comments be more offensive than someone confusing japan and china.

It makes me want to emmigrate.

yep at the moment anything remotely offensive is being deemed offensive, come on people get a grip!

Did anyone hear the audience member shouting "stop saying it"?

Possibly the most surreal episode of Big Brother I've ever watched.

Agreed I laughted at Whataday's comment due to it being ironic.

This is the problem now, what's the betting the "Englishman, Irishman & Scotsman" jokes and the like won't be said for a couple of weeks

It was very interesting watching Russel Brand become very dismissive when his bosses were attacked. I wondered how he'd handle it, I'd find it difficult to handle an attack on my bosses on live television, if I were in his shoes!

Something like: "Yes, yes, bye, balbabhabalbabla, bye. That's him gone".

The housemates must have been briefed there would be no crowd...

no, they heard the lack of crowd during Davina talking and worked it out for themselves. Although perhaps PC Brand and DCI O'Leary were on hand to inform her of the news during Ugly Betty.

moron.

I appreciate the irony of the comment with regards to racism, but I htink you are skating on thin ice with that slightly–rather–extremely racist remark.

Is Russell Brand the best person to discuss "serious issues"* such as this?

*for "serious issues" read "tabloid whipped up bollocks scandal"

Not seen that but Russell Brand was the first person from "Big Brother" to be quoted on the news as he appeared at some event the other night (Brits Launch I think).

I thought Davina was very good tonight - fair, but firm, sticking to the facts and letting the clips, and then Jade, do the talking. Also, once the racism issue was addressed she didn't let the bullying issue drop either.

Also, to be fair to Jade she handled the situation very well - far better than expected, and didn't throw out the usual arguments we get when HMs are caught out doing something they shouldn't.

As for the apology - I'm pretty sick of the reaction actually. All week people complain BB hasn't stepped in, and when BB does step in, they complain they've intervened!

It's what happens next that is the interesting questions - they definately need to get on with the nominations and eviction process so the HMs have a regular chance to vent their minor irritations to Big Brother, and also over the weekend they need a task that keeps them occupied.

Ratings will fall tomorrow - they always do on Saturday, though I expect they'll be higher than the usual 2.5-3m. Shilpa will undoubtably be up for most of the remaining evictions (there is probably only two), and the concern is now how Danielle, Jack and Jo will react to Shilpa now Jade is gone.

Of course, after The Sun labelling her the "Face of Hate" this morning, their sister paper the News of the World will shell out hundreds of thousands for the Jade exclusive, while by this time next week this will be all forgotten!

It should teach Big Brother a lesson though - never put chicken on the shopping list again! Wink

P.S. At the risk of getting C4 branded completly racist - regarding "popaddoms" - no-one watched the series but "Blunder" was constantly advertised with that clip. And as for taking piss out of accents, we were laughing our heads off when C4 News went French last week.
