Never a truer word.
Excellent post - I'll jump on the bandwagon at this point. Though she may have been indirectly hinted at by the powers that be regarding her comments, I'd completley agree that she took it upon herself to approach Shilpa and reconciliate. Whether it was due to the helicopter presence and so on - or not - we cannot really speculate with certainty, but from what I've seen it was a completley honest scenario - Jade simply wanted to clear the air.
Perhaps the strategic edting of the show tonight has made me feel this way, but it is only now that I feel so sorry for Jade after seeing this news plastered everywhere. In my opinion, the British media is becoming ridiculous, and it is only due to them that this situation has got completley out of hand and may have swayed public opinion of the British people worldwide.
Naturally, however, I did turn over to Sky News after the show, to find Enda Brady reporting from Elstree with a 'Jade Evicted' Breaking News strap at the bottom of the screen, with police sirens ringing in the background. I repeat - ridiculous.

There's too much cynicism in this thread.
I've been unhappy with Jade's actions this last week or so. She has demonstrated a very nasty streak in her nature. Argumentative, divisive, belligerent and childish.
But just as I and everyone here can demonstrate such negative qualities, I have to believe that she can show redemption and perhaps even learn from this experience.
There has been no autocue, no cue cards or prompting. I honestly think we have witnessed an, albeit late, realisation from Jade about her actions. Perhaps I could go far as to say an epiphany.
To stretch the analogy of the week - no one is black or white. There are shades of these traits in all of us.
Big Brother has just held it up for us all to see.
