According to Sky, a company has allegedly offered £1 million to sponsor Big Brother for one week.
I think it's netmovers.net. How can they refuse?
Legally might be a grey area as officially Carphone Warehouse have only "suspended" their sponsorship, not withdrawn it completly. Wouldn't surprise me at all if they're back on board by the end of the series, or BB8 at least.
Talking of that, very strange last night without the sponsor bumpers. Never thought I'd miss Mowbli!
Racism happens no matter what race is inflicting or receiving the offending remarks or actions. Therefore you can't argue that it would be different had Jade been on the receiving end of the same comments.
From what I have seen of CBB, Jade is not the only or worst offender here, but I think it is sensible to remove the public from the outside arena for her inevitable eviction tonight.
I'm sure Jade will "laugh off" the comments from Davina (if there is an interview) and try to explain the reasons for them.
But claiming ignorance does not absolve anyone.
. She will play the "stupid card" which has made her millions thus far. It doesn't wash!

There will be a interview tonight, which will take place in the studio in front of a live audience.
I am extremely disappointed that there will be no audience for the Eviction, it's like going to the old days of BB1.
Didn't BB1 have a very small audience still? I know there wasnt much room at 3 mills but i'm sure i remember there being an audience once they'd gone over the bridge?
Whatever one things of Jade, there's no way she would have used "Poppadom" to refer to a white, black, chinese, Jewish or Arab housemate. The term relates specifically to Indian cuisine, and the fact that Shilpa is Indian. End of.
Why is it 'end of', Sky Networks? The reason Jade used a term relating to Indian cuisine is because the girl's indian. If we were talking about Gail Porter, she might have mentioned haggis. Would that have been considered racist? Of course not. End of.
The fact is, as Big Brother highlights all too painfully, modern day people, and not just youngsters unfortunately (although the trend is still skewed a little in that direction) are just too used to making jibes at each other, whether it's described in terms of where someone is from, what food they eat, what religion they are, what their hobbies are and so on, and quite frankly many of the jibes that would not even be
perceived
as being racist are, to my mind, equally as spiteful and way more hurtful than the few jibes that are perceived to be racist.
It seems to me most people are arguing to the effect of, "if someone makes a jibe at you and mentions your nationality, that's totally immoral and unacceptable. However, if someone just pokes fun at you for your interests or the way you decide to wear your hair, then that's your look out. Wise up, toughen up and take it on the chin. We all have to put up with it".
Surely verbal abuse is verbal abuse. I haven't been suggesting for one minute Jade hasn't been guilty of verbal abuse. What I AM suggesting is that the nature of the verbal abuse isn't what all the opinion-sheep of the country are all bleating about, but that this doesn't lessen its impact, severity or undesirability. Like I say, I don't know the background behind the altercation and I don't know who was worse than who, but I suspect there were equal serves from both sides, and what I am saying is that this racist angle is a red herring. Personally, I wish ALL verbal abuse was treated as seriously, and that people developed less selfish expectations so that whenever their expectations are not met, they do not descend into argument at the slightest stress.
I know Endemol were whoring out that footage of Shilpa denying Jade's racism yesterday, but I don't remember seeing that painfully contrived "we take the welfare of housemates
very
seriously" line that followed, until now. Eugh.
