Why should that elitist, pushy cow win?

Just because she's being called names? I know deceitful people like her who weave their way into people's sympathies by constantly saying "why do they hate me?". It's all bollocks.

Does nobody get what a huge PR result this is for Big Brother? Ironically more people are watching.

I certainly haven't - I've been having a now little known thing called a life.

It's an awful argument. It's like if a child was being bullied in school, and the teacher saw it happening, but the child didn't tell the teacher, then teacher says nothing. Ridiculous.

Nothing, but as uncomfortable as it is, what's wrong with a show that has stirred up a genuine debate and raised some pretty serious issues?


Re: Shilpa to win - I don't want her to win because of this, but at the moment she is the only one to come out of it with any dignity. The fact that housemates are not stepping in isn't doing them any favours - and as I've said before (somewhere), if someone does stand up to Jade and co. they will secure victory.



P.S. I wonder how all this is affecting Big Brother in India. They're in the middle of their first season, which is a Celebrity series known as Big Boss - but runs the length of a normal series.

But WHY only Shilpa? Why are you concentrating on Shilpa, Jade, Jo and the other girl?

What about some of the other housemates who haven't been dragged into the whole brew-ha-ha?

Do you find Jade's accent annoying or Shilpa's, now before someone says i'm racist i'm not, I just want to know?

Most news organisations will record it off-air rather than asking C4/Endemol for a tape. The off-air feed may be a DSat or analogue version - though I'd expect it to be recorded to server or DV. They will credit Endemol/C4 but may not have asked permission - and may not need to have asked.

For most series of Celebrity Big Brother there has been a blanket agreement for clip usage, as long as a full credit, including transmission time is used. At one point you used to have clear every clip - but latterly there has been a blanket agreement to cut down the number of calls that C4/Endemol had to field.

However there IS also the old "for the purposes of critcism or review" justification that allows a short clip of pretty much any TV programme to be used for critique or review - though this doesn't extend to repeating sports footage to report on an event.

I find Jade's voice far more annoying. However I dislike Shilpa herself more.

I really think that the people seeing racism here are seeing things. Danielle, especially, is a stupid cow. However they're not picking on Shilpa because she's indian, it's because she's an annoying self important elitist cow.

You can't just scream racism when someone insults a non-white person. It's like how the news tries to imply everything is an example of islamaphobia.

Bloody Jodie Marsh now doing the rounds - last year she claimed she was bullied, but it was widely agree she was making a mockery of bullying actions and in fact arguments involving her were pretty much her own fault - mainly on the topic of Jodie continuously claiming she wasn't as the press portrayed her and then continuosly acting like it!

And the clip they've used to show Jodie being "bullied" illustrates it!

The BBC has just show a wonderful ariel shot of the Big Brother site much better than live local or Google Earth. Its an absolute godsend for any nutter wanting to get past security and get in
