Looking at some of the news stories, I notice Jade says she wants to "headbutt" Shilpa. Surely Endemol should do something about it now? I guess we'll see what they/Channel 4 say shortly.
On another note the number of rumours going around are incredible. It goes from Davina quitting to The Carphone Warehouse pulling sponsorship.
I can understand that people in India are upset but if an Irish person appeared on an Indian show and the housemates referred to them as a leprechaun, a drunk, etc, no one in Ireland would bat an eyelid!
I cannot believe the amount of ranting and raving this so called racism issue has caused. Blair and Brown are even getting involved, Germaine Greer is calling the UK a nation of racists, Carphone Warehouse are thinking of pulling the sponsorship...

Channel 4/Endemol must be loving this and tonight's show will be a ratings hit no doubt.
Seeing protesters in India burning effigies of Housemates/Big Brother producers should have alarm bells ringing at Channel 4.
They should get Jo, Danielle, Jade, Jack and Shilpa to appear on-screen together, have them make-up and explain how bullying is wrong in any form and apologise for any of their actions that have caused offence. Because if Channel 4 don't do something along these lines, Jo's, Danielle's, Jade's and Jack's lives will be greatly affected...and let's face it, they haven't racially bullied Shilpa...they've bitched about and argued with her (which I see as wrong - but
NOT
racist). If the 4 of them walked around with BNP placards and used racist words they would definately deserve this kind of coverage - media and politcal.
The sad fact of the matter is, is that alot of the protesters and people branding all this as "racist" haven't actually seen/heard the supposed "racist" incidents and are taking the media coverage as facts rather than an on-going debate.
19,000 complaints to Ofcom is a large number of upset viewers, but considering that upto 8million-ish people watch the show...well you get where I'm going with this.
My opinion on the matter: I feel angry and sorry that Shilpa is being bullied like this...but also I worry for Jo, Jade, Jack and Danielle.
The thing is - nothing like this has ever happened before so the housemates are oblivious and wouldnt expect this much controversy. If nothing is said to them then probably it will carry on - and be worse for endemol/c4
TBH, I think Jo, Danielle, Jade have quite frankly fecked up their careers (If Jade and Danielle even has one!) I expect when they get out, they would need lots of security around them.
I won't be surprised if Teddy doesn't want Danielle anymore.

the housemates have not [as far as channel 4 have shown] been racist. channel 4 have not breached any ofcom regulations - and therefore they have no reason to worry.
has anyone else noticed that most of the footage shown on the news has been pretty poor quality - looks like vhs!
Prehaps C4 won't give any broadcasters a tape, so broadcasters are doing it themselves..
Would they be allowed to do that? All pictures have been credited to Channel 4/Endemol so I assume they've been given permission to show them. I also see Shilpa is favourite to win now.

Shilpa deserves to win. I hope these supposed three celebs that are going in are going to be nice to shilpa. Jade is vile. Jo is vile, and the dumb liverpool one is vile too. Did you see how she looked with disgust, and washed her hands once she had touched Shilpas, clean, new towel?! They say this isnt racist.
