How many times did they swear on iacgmooh especially Phina who said B5Strd under her breath a lot of times
B*****d is allowed pre-watershed anyway - it's been used on Coronation Street before - and what does it matter? I'm A Celebrity is a post-watershed show.
"This year's final was broadcast live as producers felt confident that the remaining contestants would not swear.
In a submission to Ofcom, it said the finalists did not pose a "significant risk", and that viewers expected to see their votes tallied in real time."
So I just dreamt that Pete had tourette's then?
Anyway, it's only a five minute delay - the same has it has been for years - this year was the first time they decided not to have a delay - for some odd reason.
Two complaints out of 8 million viewers then! OFCOM are all but killing off live TV - with events such as this the possibility of the odd slip is to be expected!
The truth is though that this year's final was the first broadcast 100% live since BB2 or BB3. Certainly for BB4, BB5 and BB6 the first show was broadcast on a five minute time delay.
The second 10pm show will remain 100% live - so hopefully C4 will just instead merge the two shows into a post-watershed two-hour LIVE spectacular from 9pm!
P.S. And why such a long time delay. Understandable on the live feed, but considering the US networks edit out the bad language in seconds, there is no reason it should take us 5 minutes!
Going back to next year's CBB. I doubt there will be many Brits in the line-up - unless of course we get another Barrymore character - Freddie Starr anybody?
Big Brother stays with Channel 4 for three more years:
Quote:
Channel 4 is understood to have signed a deal to keep Big Brother for another three years.
The new deal with Big Brother producer Endemol is for a new three-year contract, which will run after the current agreement ends following next summer's eighth series.
Although the ITV director of television, Simon Shaps, is believed to have talked to Endemol about the contract, it is understood the network did not make a formal offer for Big Brother.
Fantastic news - moving to ITV would have been a massive back step (almost certainly a return to half hour shows, or BB split by the news) and I don't know any BB fan who thought it was a good idea!

Now they just need to find a new house!
Are they
definitely
out of Elstree next year? Or do they have an option to renegotiate as they have done before? It seems to be a really nice location for it I think.
