It was just a matter of time until an MP jumped on the bandwagon!

It's interesting how the tone of coverage on Sky News at least has changed throughout the day, becoming less of a scandal with each passing hour.

Having said that though, this is the most coverage I can recall the show getting over one single issue - even more than the infamous Fight Night back in BB5.

Thanks to evil i can't be bothered to earn a living and im not even a real celebrity danielle, jo's name has been dragged through the mud with all of this shilpa business and shes been included in this gang (but she doesnt help herself though ). Its a shame because she was the one i wanted to win , now obviously not. Jade's career is also slipping away and any credibility she had is now lost.

As for jack - dump jade while you can mate!!!

I think cleo should win as she keeps me watching - great personality and presence.

The Celebrity Big Brother "scandal" is being debated in tonight's "Have Your Say" part of Granada Reports. They are asking people whether they believe it is racism or exercising freedom of speech...this should be interesting.

one woman interviewed on the six o'clock news said it was more ignorant than racist. The report also suggested it is bullying rather than racism. C4/endemol released a statement saying they take any bullying extremely seriously, but shilpa herself hasnt expressed and concerns to them.

Damage limitation. So because Shilpa hasn't complained it makes their behaviour right? Racism or no racism their behaviour is disgusting and I find it shocking that they haven't intervened.

But what do Channel 4 care? It's bound to give the ratings a boost. Rolling Eyes

I've just been listening to a debate on the issue on the BBC World Service's World Have Your Say. It's now a global issue! Apparently it's making the news in India too.

It has been for about a week now, until the British press picked up on it a few days ago.

I suppose Danielle was the tedious local link there then!

They had BB1's Craig and BB2's Narinder on BBLB to discuss the issue - didn't really get any further with it and Dermot seems to have invented the phrase "cultural ignorance". Didn't catch all of it as our Freeview reception decided to go midway through.

However, they showed a great quote from Shilpa earlier today following a row with Jade (or from Jade should I say!) over a chicken stock cube.

Shilpa, looking around the house retorts:

"Your claim to fame is this - good for you!"

I saw BBLB. The debate was great to watch and Narinder echoed many of my own views. She was very articulate and put across a great argument. I also saw that clip and that's got to be the line of the series.
