JO
Next you'll be saying Jo isn't self centred or boring at all...?

Sorry to post this as my first post, but I'm not a regular here and was compelled to sign up when I read this.
I can't speak for any of the others, but as a personal friend of Jo's, I can assure you she'd be horrified at people suggesting she's racist. I have never once heard or seen racism from Jo.
I saw the video of Jo impersonating Shilpa's voice and I don't think it's racist - most certainly not intentionally . She was pointing out that Shilpa whinges in high pitches tones to get her own way - she was making a point about Shilpa's childish way of talking when she wants something, not her accent in general.
There's a video on Youtube of Jo dressed up as Cleo, and she impersonates her voice there too. Is that racism as well?
Also, if Shilpa had a Newscastle accent, or a Liverpudlian accent, would you be calling Jo racist for imitating it? Jo's had her Essex accent mocked many a time too, so she can take what she dishes out - so to speak.
Jo may not particularly like Shilpa, I can't really speak on her behalf, but I know that if Jo doesn't Shilpa, it's not because Shilpa is Indian.
Secondly, and this is totally my opinion because I don't know Jackiey:
I also saw Jackiey's eviction night, and I'm not convinced that was racism either. Firstly, Shilpa is Indian, so calling her "that Indian" shouldn't be racist. We know Jackiey had problems remembering Shilpa's name, and it's obvious that Jackiey isn't that bright. If Jackiey had been talking about Ian, she could have said "the gay one", or if talking about Leo she could have said "the guy with the curly hair". I don't think she was being racist.
"Indian" is not a racist term.
In regards to her name, "Shilpa" is a name I'd never heard of until Big Brother, and perhaps Jackiey was in the same position. Plus, if she didn't get on with Shilpa, she's unlikely to have spoken to her much in the house. And when they did talk to one another, I doubt she'd have said "Sorry to be rude, I've forgotten your name, could you remind me what it is?"
I used to live with a girl called Evdokiya, and when I first met her it took me at least a week to get her name right. Not because I was being racist, but because it's difficult to pronounce, not a name I'd come across before and I didn't see her that often.
