Agreed, although several have had some success (BB1's Craig, Anna & to some extent Nick & Darren, BB2's Brian, BB3's Kate & Miss Piggy, BB4's Jon Tickle & from BB5=>7 several of the girls have modeled in lads mags) they aren't celebs.
Of all Craig from BB1 is about the only one you could even consider being a celeb seeing as he had appeared in Bo Selecta (series 1-3) & an episode of A Bear's Tail but even that was quite a while ago now

Back to Davina - she has some good and some bad interviews and will never satisfy everyone.
IMO the main reason the interviews have got worse over the years isn't down to Davina, it's down to the crowd - who each year become more hostile and more intimidating - and if you'd just walked through them jeering you for reasons you don't understand, you are naturally going to be pretty guarded in your interview.

Loved the 'Shilpa's a w***er' line from Jack, for obvious reasons. 
Poor Shilpa, she's really getting a rough ride in there. Jo has shown herself up to be very two faced and Danielle was very vicious tonight. Jade's a bad influence and I now remember why I despised her back in BB3.

Exactly, you've hit the nail on the head there, when the interviews were done in front of a very small studio audience / no audience at all they are much better interviews.
I still think that since BB5 when the final interviews have been done out in the open that they have been spoilt & would have worked much better, for all concerened in the studio rather than in the open (as witness with Makosi)

Anyone else heard that apparently, according to Carole on BBLB, Lauren Harries (formally Antiques expert James Harries) will be entering the house with her mother? Again, another "celebrity" with nothing else to do but no doubt she'll be quite a bitch in the house.

With credit to Channel Four, they do two B.B. a year, and they keep it at that. Even the brother shows are exiled to E4, and T4 on saturdays. We've had 'X Factor', 'Soap Star, Superstar', 'Love Island' all in the short time on c3 between the two BBS on c4. Even when BB is on, the erst of the schedule is very varied.
