she even said on the interview she can't call jades friend her real name so i think its just ignorance

i dont know if this has been mentioned but one advantage of voting to save is that if bb wanted to bring a hm back in, they can avoid what happened last time when people argued about people like grace re-entering saying they'd voted them out so they should stay out.

Carole, Dirk and Leo are up for the public vote this Friday - This time we're voting to evicted.

Somehow I think Leo might go. Since his hissy-fit, I've gone off him quite a bit.

I don't really like any of the housemates this year to be honest. Last year had some great characters.

To be honest I was going to try & give some effort of watching a Celeb version for a change, I only ever watched the first one.

The Goody clan put me right off as I can't stand either of them, although I don't really take any offence to her fella, he's more of a background character than anything.

I might have a peak now that they have gone (are the grandparents still in there I heard they were going in but I haven't seen them in there on the odd 30 seconds I tried to watch it).

Hopefully this will see that start of Jade going back to obscurity, she' well past her 15 mins of fame.

Regarding the Jackie / Shilpa argument, I wouldn't say it's racism it's just blatant ignorance. As someone who has grown up in a very highly populated Asian area in London her name is not that difficult to pronounce compared to others I have know. I wonder how she would have reacted if several in the house couldn't pronounce Jackie properly?

The problem this year is, like BB4, we have a pretty unified house. There is the odd issue here and there, but there aren't the rival "camps" of housemates which are needed for the friction to develop. It's getting the balance right between engineering the situation and letting it develop naturally.


Still 17 days to go though - so alot can happen. They have said they won't replace Donny and Ken, and I think that is the right decision.

BB is still on par with last year's in terms of ratings, so that's not really an issue - though as I've said before a flop series could be exactly what BB8 needs.

This may be the first series that I won't miss when it finishes. It's entertaining enough, but there's just something about it that doesn't grab me like in previous years.

Shilpa to win though!

Do people actually like Carole Malone? Although many can't see it, she really has been one of the most horrible vindictive people in there.

She practically poked Cleo the other day asking about Kenny Everett deliberately making her breakdown in tears..

Last night she whispered to Dirk explaining that either Jade or Jackiey (don't know who it was) is "what we call in this country a simple-soul" and something along the lines of "they don't think first.." Yeah, ok Carole but you are being incredibly two-faced.

For crying out loud, why stick a tabloid journalist in the BB house...?

Anyway, I liked Leo at first because he was being himself but now it seems he's trying to put on an act to keep him "streetwise" and to try and stop him talking and moaning about himself all the time - its clearly not working Leo...just give it up now and act normal pal.

For me the clear winner at the moment is Dirk Benedict. He was the only one not overreacting to Jackiey's exit. He knows the game and knows the score. If him and Shilpa get together, what a happy ending! Perhaps.

I like dirk and leo so I want carole to go.

Why is russel so bored in the ads for CBBBM

I like Carole because what you see is what you get - and I think putting a journalist in there has been an inspired move, especially one who is more interested in getting things out of the housemates rather than finding scandals about Big Brother.
