Mediocre line-up, but I've always said it's about the characters and not how famous they are so I'll carry on watching.
I dont even know who half the people are in this - if they are going to call this Celebrity BB at least have celebs in it or just stick with the normal series of BB.
well apart from the WAG, the Bollywood star and the rocker I'd heard of all of them.........so its obviously an age thing then...all depends on how long you've been around !
Wasn't Donny Tourette going out with Peaches Geldof last year? Anyway, the big mouth crew are saying he'll bring anarchy to the house and unsurprisingly Russell is a fan of his. I think he's generally a normal down to earth guy but time will tell.

Its really poor when the most famous is a dried up Welsh singer from a cheesey pop band!
And people thought the lineup on Love Island was bad(yes I know it was bad aswell!) but usually CBB push the boat out and have at least a few decent celebs. The celeb callibre of last year's lineup was 100 times better!
Ill still pop in and out but will also flick around aswell.
Daily Mails reporting that C4 is now strapped for cash! That might explain why they could only afford €98,000 per ''Cleb''. Its a poor line-up this year and every programme has a bad spell and Im worried this might be the ''bad'' year for Cleb Big Brother... remember BB4?

..Coming from the stance that you are only famous if someone has heard of you I suppose you are right .....but I am still amazed you think the most famous person in the house is the welsh singer...( is that H or Donny ??? I don't even know which you refer to !) .but then I suppose a director of many oscar laden movies that single handedly broke taboos, pushed boundaries and put the British film industry on the map doesn't count???? Check him out on Wikipedia ...that should give you an idea of how famous Ken Russell is ! Streets ahead of everyone else in there ...but I would hazard a guess that the second most famous person is probably the Bollywood star...as the Indian film industry attracts more viewers across Asia than we ever do in our insular little country.....
Being of a certain age ...I remember how big the A Team was and when Cleo was in and out of the press all the time and generally loved as Kenny Everetts side kick....as for the Jacksons...well global pop phenomenon as I recall....

It's always a question of getting the balance right - and in many ways Celeb BB cast the show in a similar fashion to the main series, getting "celebs" from completly different ends of the spectrum from a range of genres. I think though this year's cast does seem a bit too "old" and they could do with a couple more younger stars.
However, it's not the fame that counts - it's the characters that are important and there definately are some of those in there.
I was appauled how on speaking to friends yesterday, hardly any of them had heard of Ken Russell. "Some cheezy film director from the 70's", someone called him. And another said "Cleo Rocas? Who's Kenny Everett?"
They should teach 20th Century popular culture in schools.
