The whole big brother phoenomonon belongs to c4. Where will bblb, big brain, and bbbm go not mentioning live streaming - somehow i couldnt see it on any of the itv digital channels. Uneless they drop all of these spin offs?

They might just put it all on ITV4, might as well put something on there that someone will watch Wink

I've been watching ten minutes of the 24 hr feed of German Big Brother, it looks to me either they are well behaved because not even once did I hear the sound of tweety birds or anything like that, it looks to me the Germans actually get what we want and thats an unedited 24hr feed, however you have to remember this channel is only available as a PPV channel to German subscribers, I wonder if this model can be applied to the UK, rather then put it on E4, set up a dedicated Big Bro channel for the obsessives who like this stuff, get them to pay, Endemol make money, viewers get an unedited live feed.

Even if unedited for language and nudity, they'd still have to edit for libel - which probably makes up the bulk of the "birdsong" anyhow.

Personally I think the best solution would to be more flexible with the advertising, so rather than a fixed ad break every 20 minutes or so they play out an ad instead of the birdsong - so in theory viewers are only missing what they're not allowed to see!
