didn't she also come out with the classic "Indians are skinny because they don't cook their food properly."

According to the Sunday Mirror apparantly that was meant as a compliment!

Apparantly Fergie phoned up in support of Jo having been "victimised" herself!

It's the fact she's shown no remorse which has done her no favours - she's gone down the route of blaming the producers and media - anyone but herself really - rather than taking responsibility for their own actions in the way Jade and Danielle have.

Although there was a report yesterday that Danielle's lawyers were trying to sue the programme makers for "misrepresenting" her character while she was in the house.

I don't know about the press, but I think the public have largely forgotten, if not forgiven, them for what has happened.

I'm sure it'll play out in OK and Hello over the coming weeks!

I find it genuinely sad to hear Squarey's report of her on GMTV. I don't to see her suffer (or anyone else for that matter). I get no sense of satisfaction seeing anyone in distress.

Ultimately though she is the mistress of her own downfall.

Very sad situation.

Have to agree with you there Gavin, I hated what they did in the house but from what I heard about the GMTV interview (haven't read Square Eyes post yet) she was in a very bad way & I don't like to see anyone in that way over a tv programme.

EDIT: Just read Square Eyes post, exactly what someone at work told me what happened, seems she has been effected quite badly by it.

I'm suprised she is getting death threats in Romford, as someone who knows the area last time I visited it, it was predominately white & I heard a few stereotypical comments just from passers by, not directed at me but at any black or Asian person in view.

Sounds to me like they need to keep an eye on her to be honest, just hope endemol have learnt their lesson

No sypmpathy. It's all done by her own hand/mouth. She went on there to show the public her 'real' self. Oh boy she done that alright! Yeah the BB production team are responsible to a degree for the editing, but they can only work with what the footage they're given.

Although that may be true, I wouldn't want anyone to have a nervous breakdown over this whole affair.

The truth is as bitter & nasty as those three were to Shilpa no one on the CCB team or Channel 4 for that matter put a stop to it, they let it get as bad as it did & it never should have reached to those levels.

Afterall, when was the last time you have heard of 50,000 complaints to a tv watchdog in the UK

You know that the final day of CBB was on Sunday and it all ended..... Was the final day itself broadcast at all? I don't recall it, but if they have not done so, would anyone know when and if it would be broadcast? Maybe if they do show the final day in the house, it might be shown as part of CBB The Winner's Week show -also when would this be on, if it is? Thanks! Very Happy

They may have decided not to show it for now at least until the press coverage has died down

To be honest i couldn't care if her, Jade and Danielle have a nervous breakdown or commit suicide off the back of this. I didn't much care for them before CBB and i care even less now. And as for Shilpa, i wouldn't care if i never heard of her again or the others. They were ok for a couple of weeks viewing, now i just want them to go away or do something constructive. The only CBB contestant i've ever had an interest in is the pretentious little git we know as Preston! He seems to be doing ok. He's just got himself a jag. XJS V12.. Moron!

Don't think they've ever done a "Winner's Week" for Celebrity Big Brother.

The only coverage of the final day was shown as part of BBLB with a couple of brief clips, the main one being the domino task set by a BBLB viewer.

Unlike the regular series, Celeb BB wraps up on the final night.

48,000 of them probably hadn't even been watching they just jumped on the passing bandwagon.

Shilpas visa has been extended, and she is invited to go to the House of Commons, and meet her Majesty in March, her sister wanted her to return to India as it was her birthday, but they had a telephone conversation instead, who knows she may front an OxoCube ad Very Happy
