Did Marcas Bentley say that Celebrity Big Brother's Bit on the Side was on 5* and was he talking out of his backside?

The promo said 5 and 5*, presumably that's just for the first night


Its switching between the two throughout the run. Sometimes its on Channel 5, other times its on 5* but it will always follow the main show so it wont be too hard to find.


I think it's Channel 5 on weekdays and 5* on the weekends. But I could be wrong.

I'm baffled why Emma didn't get Davina's job. The launch show would have been miles better and felt like a proper BB launch. The only thing I can think of is that she probably won't be working in January.

Neither was Davina when she started, and Brian isn't really that well known outside of BB circles. Its been a very long time since he won.

Talking of presenters, who presenters Celebrity Big Brother's Bit on the Side at the weekend? The Channel 5 website says Emma Willis but she said she has the weekend off.

He's really annoyed me in his interviews beforehand and even just in the trailers, but didn't do a bad job tonight - though it'll be the interviews which are most telling. And he was back to annoying on Bit on the Side, but Josie Gibson being associated with it makes it unwatchable anyway.

The set looks fantastic, I love the rotating stage at the top of the stairs but I'm not so sure about the general production. I find it very shoddy.

I the way they cut the music when the door closes, they've never done that before have they?

They definately did that last year, as well as celebs entering through the eye. The set though is superb tonight - but not sure the screen around the door really works.

Was quite impressed by tonight actually. Somehow I think Channel 5 have got a bigger budget for this than what Channel 4 had, just a thought.

Glad they kept the Paul Oakenfold - Element 4 track, that in itself is Big Brother.

I think Brian as host is actually quite a good move by Channel 5 as he knows Big Brother inside out.

Overall very impressed!
