Can anyone else see Channel 5 launching a 'The Brian Dowling Show', the part of the year Big Brother isn't on?

Wouldn't surprise me. BBC have Graham Norton, ITV have Paul O'Grady and Channel 4 have Alan Carr. He's an OK interviewer and clearly has a big fan base so could probably pull one off.

Yep, and don't forget BBC Two have GMT with George Alagiah.

No body appear to have mentioned that there will be Pamela Anderson waiting for the new contestants in the house.

Hopefully, she'll be pretending she's a member of the public or a Pamela Anderson look-a-likey.

Finally, the dog does something useful.

I think it was a mistake of Channel 5 not to have the series links from Celebrity Big Brother carry over to Big Brother especially Celebrity Big Brother's Bit on the Side/Big Brother's Bit on the Side which in my opinion is a better watch than the 'main' show.

They didn't even have Celebrity Big Brother: Winner's Story in the same series. If you didn't spot that was on tonight then you would have missed the clock that was mistakenly broadcast at the start of the programme.

EDIT : It's amazing that they can show the 'live' Big Brother stuff but are having so many problems with the recorded programme this evening. After the break, we saw Brain Dowling suggesting that we should join him at 21:30, then the sponsorship bit, then we saw Brain Dowling saying the same thing again before getting cut off for another look at the VT clock before the programme resumed.

EDIT: The programme got cut off at the end before all the credits had appeared. The sponsorship played out fine.

Davina McCall would be turning in her grave if she saw this. I expect she didn't because she is live on Channel 4 right now.

Other years, we would have a new thread for the series of Big Brother that is about to start. I would start one but I have nothing to say yet.

Yesterday was cut off too, you can see it on Demand 5.

It was glitching a lot during the Winner's Story, and the 'live' VT they do saying "BB in 15 mins" played out mistakenly again for a few seconds after the sponsorship sting after the commercial break. Plus, the 'HD' part of the DOG wasn't on-screen even though the show was clearly HD.

The picture froze and the sound went for 10 seconds or so just after the main programme began too.

Does anybody else think that BB could attract a higher calibre of celebrity if they made a bigger play of the charity aspect of the show? With big sums of money being raised for good causes, I suspect they could get people of a higher status.

Programme riddled with cock ups so far and its 15 minutes in. The picture froze about 2 minutes in, then there were a few lines across the screen at one point and the sound went when Maisy was going in. That's what I saw on Channel 5 HD anyway.
