Big Brother 2011 on Channel 5

Voting collapsed when C4 switched to vote to save for Celeb BB3 - they only had a million votes all series and hence the money raised collapsed too. It's a USP of Big Brother - and the three nominees tonight highlight why. There is no incentive to save any of them, but it's quite easy to find reasons to evict them.

And looks like once again it'll be a Celeb BB with hardly any nominations. Indeed with nothing now to structure the first week around the ratings will dip for sure.

What is the story behind Marcus, has he had to give up his Channel 4 gig?

I guess, as he quit Channel 4 the week he confirmed he'd be on BB. I imagine in the new year, we'll hear him doing Channel 5 continuity.

@bbspy Channel 4 gave me an ultimatum, if you go to Channel 5 with Big Brother then you'll have to leave Channel 4. I didn't think twice.

There was a story a while back that C5 had axed all their male continuity announcers, although I'm sure there was one on air the other day

We actually had one today, so...

I'm finding Marcus very arrogant at the moment - he is obviously feeling top dog now Davina has gone, though last nights show proved exactly why C5 should have started afresh. The slight change in style was certainly not for the better.

Wow where to start? What have they done to the 'style' of the show? It feels very 'TOWIE'!

Hate the fact the housemates pop up in the stings between segments and adding the names on screen just look cheap IMO.

Not to bleat on about Live Feed but would have liked at least an hour or two during the night & afternoon maybe...

I guess this is just 5's way of saying "This is our show now"

I guess in reality, Channel 5 have done this year's series as a bit of a last minute thing in some ways. The time building their new production village, new HD friendly sets, replacing all the cameras and mirrors etc... it's not only time eaten up, but budget as well. I'd presume things like making effort on an improved live feed will be their next step in 2012 when Celeb returns in January [pretty much confirmed].

On a quick tangent, does anyone have a good HQ copy of the logo this year? Eatock always uploaded his for people, but I don't know where to obtain one this year. This link below is the best size around, and it's not even a whole eye!

Thanks Got myself the new 27" iMac, and so images need to be beyond HD now to look half decent!

I think that's probably the reason I don't feel inclined to watch and it's also the fact we're forced to appreciate the zelebs which I don't like. C4 never went with this format (It's difficult to explain).
