At about 21:39, Channel 4 went to a break during the live Big Brother show. The Dreams promo played, the Channel 4 break bumper played and then we had a blank screen for about 30 seconds before the anouncer says "Well, we are sorry about this. Why does it al..." before being cut off by a Living TV advert.

I guess a Channel 4 promo failed to play.

Interested parties can probably catch it again at 22:39 on Channel 4+1.

It really wasn't that exciting - a black screen for all of ten seconds! Lately the +1 channels seem to have been editing out the mistakes from earlier too.

No one is saying it was exciting, just that it happened. I just checked, it was a blank screen for exactly 20 seconds.

If they change it for the Channel 4+1 showing then that WILL be exciting. Just 45 minutes to go now. Maybe Asa should open the live event chat so we can all watch and talk about it together.

I'm guessing the fault won't be shown on +1 as the programme already went to an ad-break but I guess it'll be edited out anyway.

Anyone else feel (or even care Laughing) that there's been a really dodgy deal sealed here between C4/Endemol and Ulrika Jonsson? Rolling Eyes I just hate that woman!

If there was any deal I'm sure it would have been for Ulrika to go, not stay.

The subliminal voting message Davina used earlier with who to vote for tonight was certainly in Ulrika's favour (to stay). But maybe its just me, of course they'd never use tactics like that! We all know the stupid cow is just playing a fat money-grabbing game - thats not to excuse the other housemates I'm sure time will tell but per-lease..sort yourself out

I'm watching on the +1, and audience certainly don't seem to dislike Uli as much as that glamour model.

Ulrika, although opions vary, does have a fairly long history of being a TV favourite, and I'd rather have her in the house than a be-tittet, talentless model.

And based on my conversations with someone who was considered to be in the lineup this year, they get their £80K (minimum) irrespective of the length of their stay.

It was just shown on Channel 4+1, the DOG stayed on during the whole 20 seconds so that probably confirms it was a Channel 4 promo that failed rather than a regular advert (which wouldn't have had the DOG).

I have seen them make +1 edits in the past and IIRC the edits have exclusively been during Big Brother shows. As this was a Channel 4 mistake and not a Big Brother mistake the Big Brother production team wouldn't have been able to do anything about it anyway.

That's as maybe, I was of that opinion too until her (Ulrika's) unreserved negotiations outburst on the highlights show the other night after Terry announced her as having a big ego.

Indeed, that didn't play too well for her, really.

I must admit, but for the goodwill she must engender with the public, I thought that would put her out, too.

Have to say, Tina is really working my last nerve. Yes, she's, "keeping it real" - but jesus - who wants to spend time with that negative, foul mouth?

Flipped over to C4 and saw Pinder's interview.

She's actually very funny and bright in that context.

I withdraw my rather chauvinistic comments of earlier.

Yeah I saw the interview, she actually came across quite well & didn't care at all that she had gone & even expected it. Fair play to her.

BTW, and I must point out that this is the first I've seen of CBB this year but am I the only one that thinks Coolio is an annoying tw..*t?
