Never go into the house after personal trauma do I need to explain Les Dennis or Vanessa Feltz

Following that career trajectory he'll be on the next series of Extras doing a cringeworthy cameo like Les Dennis.

Did anyone see Big Brother: The Celebrity Years on E4 over the last few days?

Apparently Jack Dee (CBB1) and Les Dennis (CBB2) wouldn't allow any footage of them to be shown a second time around. So the producers were faced with the task of editing together the best bits from these 3 series without showing any images of Dee or Dennis - a very tricky job, especially as Dee was the winner of CBB1.

I thought whenever someone entered the Big Brother House they signed some kind of contract giving Endemol / Channel Four the permanent ownership of all footage taken of them inside the house. But obviously that's not the case with some of the celebrity contestants - they have something up their sleeves to prevent footage being shown again without their permission.

With Celeb BB 1&2 the celebs had the rights to any footage of them. This was in the days when they were not paid a fee to appear. With CBB1 there was also no live streaming and IIRC all unused footage had to be destroyed.

By the time CBB3 arrive I'm a Celeb had changed the market so that celebs expected six figure deals to appear - but as part of the fee Endemol keep the rights to use images from the programmes.

Our local paper reports tonight the house has had a "colourful" makeover and a new pool installed. The sauna also returns.

DS:BB reporting now Joan Rivers is rumoured to be going in. She could be quite good value for money!

So long as Joan doesn't enter the Sauna Shocked "look at the face...am i melting..?" Laughing

Oh my, it'll be her and Barrymore the only ones chatting in the seating area while others are in the pool/sauna then.

Back onto Barrymore though... I think its a shame that the majority of the viewers are going to hold an old story on his head like the nail in his coffin.

He was never charged guilty, because all the evidence showed his innocence... if you never read the review of the scenario I've provided a link from The Daily Mail. A newspaper that is normally anti-gay, but took exception when it came to an innocent man: Daily Mail Articale

And this is a link to another reporter that would not normally defend a man like Barrymore: Mark Simpson

I've got no problem with Barrymore. It will be interesting to see him in the CBB house because really all he did on those gameshows and everything was put on an act. The people he used to pick on in the audience (going through old ladies handbags etc) were clearly stooges.

I just feel for Stuart Lubbock's family I suppose.

Not stooges out of choice though.

On Stirke it Lucky (or Rich... whatever lights your candle), all the contestents were in on the jokes that occured during the

'Hello my name is... and I'm a.... from.....'

The jokes during the game itself were unscripted and spontanious.

It's been reported in national newspaper "The Mirror" that the family of Stuart Lubbock, the man who was found dead in the swimming pool of entertainer Michael Barrymore in 2001, have urged the celebrities who are entering the "Celebrity Big Brother" house on Friday night to question him relentlessly until he reveals to them the truth about what happened surrounding Mr. Lubbock's death. It's not yet actually confirmed whether Mr. Barrymore, who was proclaimed innocent after a court inquest shortly after the incident, will be taking part in this series of the hit television show. The Mirror claims the swimming pool which has been built in a redesign of the house provoked the father of Stuart Lubbock to encourage the celebrities to "not shy away from the difficult questions". This link reports.
