I don't want to get into it, but I think other people in the limelight have been implicated more directly in much worse cases and come out of it with their careers intact.

Having said that though, I don't want Barrymore on the show as I think it would overshadow the whole thing.

BBC News have this article about a tight lipped Channel 4, re: Celeb Big Bro.

Now I hate Big Bollocks with a passion but, just this once, if Mr Barrymore was on it, I may just watch it.

It could go both ways, either he'll make a further fool out of himself or we may get to see the real Michael at last.

I reckon the public will love him again and he'll be back on our screens after Big Brother..

I suppose it probably is a final make or break for him... and to be fair he's not really got much left to lose now. However, I can't imagine that Barrymore's core audience of blue-rinsers will be seriously into Big Brother.

Apparently Stuart Lubbock's family (the family of the guy who died in his pool) are very angry hearing this.

I think you hit the nail right on the head, they won't be happy until they hear about his death. They've lost a family member and they see the person they hold repsonsible running around alive and well.

Admittedly the whole affair was sordid but he wasn't directly implicated in the death. The problem was that this was the final straw for the British public, they gave him lots of chances after he revealed he was gay but the way he behaved just got more and more tawdry. To be honest with you I never could stand him, the way he would humiliate old women and do essentially Bruce Forsyth's act irritated the hell out of me.

If anybody wants me I'll be watching Life On Mars.

Would be interesting to see the real Johnny Vegas but will probably end up killing his comedy career.

I thought 18 Stone Of Idiot did that. Smile

A valuable contribution there Rolling Eyes Why shouldnt he be allowed in? His career may have ended in somewhat dubious circumstances but the man hasnt been found guilty of any crime. Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty or do we now follow trial by media speculation?
