Celebrity Big Brother

Yeah, wasn't just me then (26AD) I thought that was odd.

Right, well, I know of Lenska (she was in one episode of One Foot in The Grave), George Galloway (political news figure), Michael Barrymore (Srike it Rich, Barrymore, My Kind Of Music), Jodie Marsh (other reality TV rubbish) and Pete Burns (Dead or Alive - Spin Me Right round/Liquid News) in that house.

A very poor line up celebrity wise, though the mix of characters should work. The fee must have gone on Barrymore.

Nice twist with Chantelle - I bet she'll be thinking she's been double bluffed. She's more famous than half of those then!

None of the "confirmed" lot in there then - Anna Nicole Smith, Johnny Vegas, Ralph Little etc.


Anyhow, taking the show for what it is, it'll still keep me hooked for the next three weeks just with the twists of the format.

I'm sure his constituents are pleased at how he's representing them for the next few weeks...

Wikipedia suggests this series is the first one being made by a subsiduary of Endemol..

Anyone know any more about that?

Anyone notice the new C4 Next thing at the end of the show, promoting E4 and C4 coverage.

It's very dodgy, with a 2D E4 logo flipping on and the C4 logo then zooming on as normal.

I haven't seen them for ages, but they used to use their standard menus, but rotate them round to promote E4 with purple text instead of the C4 colours.

Endemol have just had a bit of internal reorganisation - all reality TV shows now made by Brighter Pictures, though it's exactly the same people.

Bloody hell! This series seems to be scraping the bottom of the barrel with a hole in it!

Who are these people??? Apart from Michael Barrymore and 2 others or so, the others are a bit unknown aren't they??? Rula??? Preston??? Maggott??? Huh???

I know what Harry Hill would say about this on TV Burp! Expect some comments about this on the 21st January I reckon.

Unbelievable! I hope Michael Barrymore or Chantelle wins! It would be funny to see the non-celebrity to win the celebrity edition of Big Brother - it will just show them what NO HOPERS they actually are!!!

i'm surprised more people on this board haven't heard of Dennis Rodman. I always thought he was pretty well known by all accounts.

And are taxpayers paying his wages as an MP while he's in there? Can we have 3 weeks of his salary back? Unless it's coming from his holiday leave and assuming he'll be there long enough...

I never thought I'd say this - but Barrymore to win! If only to stick 2 fingers up to the News Of The World who won't leave the guy alone.

Never heard of him. The only ones I know are Michael, Rula, George and Pete - I've just about heard of the bands Preston and Magot are in, but the others are so insignificant I couldn't give a **** about them anyway. How does shagging Sven make someone a "celebrity"? I know it's a very loose term, but really!

Rula Lenska was a household name in the 80s, being married at the time to Dennis Waterman - at his peak in Minder. Posh and Becks perhaps not, but not a million miles from it.

That said, I never really liked her.

I'm thinking I would most like Chantelle to win out of this bunch of scrag end.

Or maybe Pete Burns.
