Look out for updates to the Celebdaq updates (After liquid news on BBC3) graphics soon to bring it in line with the main Friday programme.

Also Fridays Liquid News is no more! So no more orange - but I presume you know that already!

Shame about the Friday edition of Liquid News, ever since it was moved to 12am I didn't think it would last long. I did wonder last night why Mark and Jo said they were leaving the show, didn't know the reason why till now.

First the Sunday edition (which didn't last that long in the first place), now the Friday edition, you get the impression that they are just letting it slip down the pole until it gets to the point where its axed completely.

No - I think the Friday show was quite a different show - with different presenters and a different agenda.

The Monday-Thursday shows are live and have a very "today" newsy feel, presented by Paddy or Paddy and Claudia. T

The Friday show has always been a different animal - more a review of the week kind of show - and presented by Mark and Julia or Mark and Jo. I think that the live daily show is doing quite well at the moment - and will probably be with us for a while. Paddy is certainly doing a grand job.

I never understood why they didnt move the review show to sunday and re introduce the friday night show. They must get quite a bit of news to cover a friday show, as they always used to do it.

As they dont get enough news to fill a show on sunday, a review slot would fit in well that adds parts from the week and weekend, such as new chart news. Alternatively they could try doing a chart show. How about a live sunday night chart show straight after the new chart has been released.

I saw the BBC Two repeat of celebdaq last night, quite liked the new look that they had introduced with the silver star. Though I never got why they didnt do the show in the style of the updates, they opted for the horrible version of the logo without the star on the sky backing. Or did they do it like the updates origianally?

The updates are currently still in the style of the original show (and the website) - which was purple and orange and metal. The metal star was originally part of this look.

However the show moved quite a way from its website origins, and relaunched after a couple of months in the cloudy form. It looked very similar to the Liquid News set.

It relaunched again shortly after it moved into the current 2000 time slot, though is still shot in the Liquid News studio, using bits of the Liquid News set. (If you look carefully you'll see that the structure of the current Celebdaq set is actually quite similar to the original look...)

I think that the BBC Three schedule has been tweaked a bit - meaning the old Sunday slot is not really available any more - and Celebdaq now sits in the Friday Liquid News slot. (It would not be feasible to do both Celebdaq and Liquid News live on the same day from the same studio)

It seems as though BBC Three is only able to have that one studio for everything. They had the launch night there, liquid news, celebdaq, the news show/ 60 seconds, and (even though not BBC THREE) the morning show also used it. How much use can you get of of it?

They could eaily record celebdaq bar the live feeds that they insert, though they are only usually just quick dips to the person thats done a report.

What do they put on sunday nights nowadays? I havent watched sunday nights (well until 24 and pure 24) so from 7 till 10:45 for a while.
