Ill just give details of some of the latest news snippets going around;
Apparently there are crisis meetings taking place in London and Fiji. According to the NOTW, an ITV source has said said: "The atmosphere is bordering on panic in both Fiji and London. Top brass were promised a format that would rival I'm A Celebrity but Love Island does not even come close. Executives are concerned that the channel now looks stupid for investing so heavily and hyping up a new show that has failed to deliver. And moneywise it is a disaster. They promised advertisers huge ratings and simply haven't delivered."
Elsewhere, both in the NOTW and in the Mirror, there are rumours that presenters Kielty and Brooke are not speaking to each other off camera after Patrick revealed Kelly once dated contestant Paul Danan, causing her to snap: "No!" Also, Kelly has also become irritated by Patrick's habit of ad-libbing, while she prefers to read from the autocue." An insider said: "You can cut the tension with a knife, they just don't get on. And the fact that the show is bombing has obviously made it worse."
These rumours come the morning after initial viewing figures show only 1.97 million watched Saturdays episode (source: viewingfigures.com), and 5 days before the ailing series is due to go head to head with C4s runaway smash hit Big Brother.
Not looking too good is it!

Anyone fancy taking bets on when we can expect a press release detailing a shift of time slot or a reduction in the number of weeks this is to air? Ill go for the middle of the week begining 30/05/05.
What do you think the future is for 'Celebrity Shark Bait' after the disasterous performance of CLI and CW? Many of the people appraoched to take part have derided the show in the press (Richard and Judy, Joan Collins, Piers Morgan to name a few) so whoever they get will clearly be complete nobodies perhaps worse than those we have in CLI! Do you think ITV should pull Celeb Shark Bait now rather than face possible further humiliation later in the year? I certainly do - the idea of producing crap celeb related reality has obviously run its course, and if ITV have any sense, theyll only show 'Im a celeb, get me out of here' once a year, making it the kind of one-off event to look forward to, like BB!
