I didnt realise Brook and Kielty really hated each other! theres an article in the Mirror today saying that they "refuse to take the same boat from set and rarely speak". This is following Kieltys rant live on air about Kelly's ex, where she reportedly flew into a rage as soon as the cameras switched off.

Is it me, or is this Patrick Kielty an irritable littl s***? I recall the same thing happening between him and Richard Park on Fame Academy.

This is a load of s*** I think ITV has got a lot of work to do if they want viewers to watch these sort of rubbish and stupid programmes, I mean I liked it when they produced programmes in the 90's that was the best for them.

Ill just give details of some of the latest news snippets going around;

Apparently there are crisis meetings taking place in London and Fiji. According to the NOTW, an ITV source has said said: "The atmosphere is bordering on panic in both Fiji and London. Top brass were promised a format that would rival I'm A Celebrity but Love Island does not even come close. Executives are concerned that the channel now looks stupid for investing so heavily and hyping up a new show that has failed to deliver. And moneywise it is a disaster. They promised advertisers huge ratings and simply haven't delivered."

Elsewhere, both in the NOTW and in the Mirror, there are rumours that presenters Kielty and Brooke are not speaking to each other off camera after Patrick revealed Kelly once dated contestant Paul Danan, causing her to snap: "No!" Also, Kelly has also become irritated by Patrick's habit of ad-libbing, while she prefers to read from the autocue." An insider said: "You can cut the tension with a knife, they just don't get on. And the fact that the show is bombing has obviously made it worse."

These rumours come the morning after initial viewing figures show only 1.97 million watched Saturdays episode (source: viewingfigures.com), and 5 days before the ailing series is due to go head to head with C4s runaway smash hit Big Brother.

Not looking too good is it! Very Happy Anyone fancy taking bets on when we can expect a press release detailing a shift of time slot or a reduction in the number of weeks this is to air? Ill go for the middle of the week begining 30/05/05.

What do you think the future is for 'Celebrity Shark Bait' after the disasterous performance of CLI and CW? Many of the people appraoched to take part have derided the show in the press (Richard and Judy, Joan Collins, Piers Morgan to name a few) so whoever they get will clearly be complete nobodies perhaps worse than those we have in CLI! Do you think ITV should pull Celeb Shark Bait now rather than face possible further humiliation later in the year? I certainly do - the idea of producing crap celeb related reality has obviously run its course, and if ITV have any sense, theyll only show 'Im a celeb, get me out of here' once a year, making it the kind of one-off event to look forward to, like BB!

Ah - the good old 90's when we had quality programmes like Man-O-Man, Ice Warriors and Scavengers!

The problem with CLI is that it's not an original idea - it's just that ITV couldn't wait for the next I'm a Celebrity series, so try and rehash the format into a new programme - as they did with Hell's Kitchen last year.

What ITV need is to start concentrating on series that can bring in ratings on a weekly basis, rather than relying on shows to give them a short-term boost by airing them nightly over a couple of weeks.

There's been alot of unfair critism of ITV in the last week in various places that they should ditch the reality and bring more quality drama to our screens - but in truth ITV have provided far more drama this year than all the other terrestrial stations put together.

It is drama where they need to focus their attentions though. Throughout the last six months or so there has been some fantastic one-off dramas on Sunday and Monday night - but the problem is they are one-offs.

These need to be turned into series - and series need to run for longer than just six weeks. I doubt we'll go down the US route of 24 episodes a year, but I think 10-12 episodes is achievable.

I'm still wondering whatever happened to "Press Ganged", a reality show set out at sea. This was in the press release last Autumn, but has yet to see the light of day.

In view of recent reality disasters, it probably never will.

The show's not bad, I'm quite liking it., just the host that are the pain. I was amazed that the choice of Aftersuns presenter is not that usual bloke who does the ITV2 versions of I'm a Celeb and Hell's Kitchen.

I think the show has improved over the last 3-4 nights. I like Fran and Lee, but I cant stand Callum, Abi and Paul.

I like the opening titles and theme music.

If the series has dropped below 2 million viewers would ITV move it from its slot?. The problem is what could they replace it with? They would have a lot of slots to fill, its not as if its a once a week series. So I cant see it moving from its slot.

I suppose they could just drop the 9pm shows.
Most episodes are on at 10pm anyway, so it might as well stay in that slot, it's not exactly the peak slot.
