Clearly the show is attracting the thicko chav viewer on this one. Strange all the comments are so positive and praising, cant seem to find my 'this programme is crap' message!

There was a funny story in the Guardian today too. The person who owns the URL celebrityloveisland.com has linked the site to the Big Brother site in protest at ITV only offering him £300 for the URL when a billboard costs £3k to rent, and in protest at ITV for showing such 'dross'.
Does anyone seriously think this will last the full 5 weeks in prime-time considering the viewing figures arent great despite the massive promotion in every junction, and the fact that none of the tabloids have really taken much interest in the 'slebs' basically lying around sunbathing and congratulating themselves for looking gorgeous.

It is because DH is 1 hour long and Celeb is only 30minutes.
There are more people watching tv in general between 10-10.30 than there are between 10.30-11 thats why DH's lower audience is a higher share.

Well, Channel 4 news have just reported an 'ITV source' as saying that execs are considering cutting the shows run from 5 to 2 weeks!!! Now, maybe this is just Ch4 trying to rubbish CLI as they dont want the competition with BB, but I seriously doubt ITN would just falsify a report to boost their customers ratings. So, it looks like my prediction was right - I said this format wouldnt last and wouldnt last its full course. Now, if I can see that, as well as others on here, why couldnt the ITV comissioners instead of steam rollering into another ratings disaster!
