That's precisely what's needed here. The ability to promote programming with visuals and at the same time offer a text-based news/information service.
It is somewhat embarrassing to have Level 1 teletext pages filling airtime in 2005.

Yes, I noticed that too - anybody know why?
I thought the LZ started at 2.00am every day accept for Tuesday morning when it starts at 1.00am - will it start later on a Sunday morning from now on?

I see there may also be pages from Ceefax in the early hours of Sunday morning looking at the BBC2 schedules. The Learning Zone starts at 4am and News 24 on BBC2 finishes at 2.10am, so we have 1 hour and 50 minutes free to spare.

I see your point with that statement, but Ceefax is cheap to run, it is only ran on BBC Two (sometimes BBC One Nations) in the middle of the night or first thing in the morning, when no-one is watching. One other thing it has that BBCi doesn't is P152, which shows the main pages on Ceefax; most news stories, Sports headlines and Financial headlines without having to change the page number.
One thing I noticed this morning was that they were showing 'CEEFAX 1' on BBC Two.
