Ceefax Problem on BBC NI

I hope this is not an indication of the level of neglect that we're going to experience from now on. There have been problems with Ceefax on BBC One NI for the last number of days.

- Magazine 1: when the page number cycles round to 199, it freezes for c. 20 seconds before cycling again from page 100.

- Magazine 4: when the page number cycles round to 499, it freezes for c. 20 seconds before cycling again from page 400.

- Magazine 5: the header reads 'Ceefax 2'.

- Magazine 6: the header reads 'Ceefax 2', though curiously, the pages are correct for BBC One (e.g., page 630 is tomorrow's TV rather than The Learning Zone.

The above problems were resolved yesterday.

However, correction of these issues was swiftly followed by a new fault, which resulted in no updates to the service on BBC One.

By Sunday, the issues that triggered this post had re-appeared. However, page updates are coming through again.

Nice to see it's all being dealt with with a sense of urgency.
